This number is a spam cellular phone number. They tried to get from me $6,000. via electronic transfer. Be aware. IRS never call you or ask for money by phone. IRS contact you only by mail. Good luck!

They tried the same procedure on me. I reported it to the Quincy Police. They wanted 5988.32 and read the charges of the IRS on my arrest warrant.

I have received 2 phone calls from this #. It was a recording threatening me to call this # immediately or further action would be taken a***nst me. It was a man's voice saying he was officer such n such from the IRS and I had better call that # back or further consequences would have to be taken. I knew that this is NOT the way the IRS operates. I called the # to see where it would lead. A recorded message from a woman with an Asian accent said that I had reached a voice mail box and to leave a message. I left a message asking what it was about . Today I got a call back with the same mans voice and the same message as before. This is definitely a scam. How does one report so****ing like this?
