Leave a CommentThis a s****ed or ghost number that IS NOT with the Department of Energy, but IS an unsolicited spam or scam call AND superficially promotes solar panels. It originates from India and involves a sales/scam script that falls apart when asked basic questions about the actual manufacturer of the product; or when you deflect their basic****umptions of wanting lower energy costs by explaining how solar is NOT less expensive unless on a very large scale. Scammer was not prepared for a critical thinker that wanted to discuss the quality of the product and the hidden costs.
They called and left no message. Maybe secretary Chu is cold calling for a new job.
I've received multiple calls from this number, one time they left an unintelligible message that lasted a few seconds. Reverse number look up said the number was that of the Department of Energy.
It's the general phone number for the U.S. Dept. of Energy. If anyone called you from DOE, you get that number as the called from number, rather than their direct line.
