Saying they were from DOJ trying to contact a doctor, which I've recieved multiple messages or texts trying from others to contact this doctor who is a local PA in area I live. Who knows, it might be valid, but this one is very su****ious because it's from DOJ.

Anonymous Called to say I was qualified for Grants transfer me to another # I can't tell anyone

Said that I was selected to receive a grant. The call came from a local number (720-213-4960) but they gave me a number to call (202-596-1835) with a "grant approval number". Of course I'm going to look this up as the offer of thousands of dollars of free money that doesn't need to be paid back is just not realistic.

Fake profile, lied about location

Said I was to recieve 9000 dollars from the goverment. Does anyone know if this is true or not? They say I need to get an Ebay card of some sort to recieve the grant money. Has anyone done this officially yet? I'm a little paranoid about it.

go to Walmart to register . need $400. cash for registration fee. must call this number because I need this person to guide me through the registration. It sounds like a good faith show of money which is to be transferred by wire to this number so that I can claim the $9000. grant plus the refundable $400. registration fee. and pigs fly.

Scammer.

JS Called at almost midnight to tell me I’ve been awarded a $9000 “grant”. (Insert major eye roll here!)
