First call was from a man telling me he was from the Gov. in Washington DC and my number was selected to receive 8400 in free money. I just had to give them some personel information. Not happenin. The second call was from a lady with the same stic. Both calls within 30 mins.

This guy was looking for my husband and said he had said he wanted some ******s. Mm ya thanks but no thanks, I'm 5 months pregnant I don't think we need them.

Guy and a woman called claims they have a grant for you for 8400 and when you play along and tell them you have not bank acct or credit card they become very angry and say well how can we help you? I told them send it to me in the mail like the government always does and you should have all my info since you called me, yeah they ***g up.

Called my number 3 days prior saying i was selected for a $7000 grant and asked me to buy a green dot money pack and give him the number for the card.I told him o.k ill go in a min and ***g up googled the number and instantly people was saying its a scam even the news said so.Today a lady called wit kinda a indian accent said i was selected for a $8200 grant i already knew it was a scam but i decided to play along since they woke me up early and she asked for my credit card no. and i said this is a ***kin scam im not ****** no government officials would ask for that type info over the phone she got mad and said "no no its not a scam" i said alrite its 613.. she said dont play with me credit cards s**** wit 4 numbers i cussed her out real good and ***g up the phone..ironicly from this number (which was different from the first 2 thats how i really knew) the same indian dude from the first call 3 days ago called 3 min later and said hes from F.B.I and why am I harrasing his "friend" i said your trynna play me for my money plus i googled this number your not from the government he said it was a "new" number i cussed him out to and he threatened he knows where my adress is and im under arrest and i was taunting him like im not under **** shut the f*** up you not gone do nuthin then he said your going to jail and ***g up..i laughed so hard after that call but i wish i could have tricked them a little more into believing they got me

This number has been calling me numerous times, so I finally answered and they said you have been granted 8,400 by the Government, called them out and I said this is a SCAM, he replied with anger and said that I am calling the FBI and end them over to your house and ***g up.

Two missed calls with no voicemail, and then I answered a third and immediately the other line ***g up. I almost wish they'd call a***n so I can call them out

I receive at least four calls a day from this number. I answered once and they ***g up. I tried returning the call without success. I reported the number to the National Do Not Call Registry.

First call-girl said she was from the Treasury Dept-I asked her to qualify herself, she said F---K you B---tch and ***g up (unkown #)-then I recd another call from this phone number, also saying that he was from the treasury dept-I told him I am contacting the police and he ***g up.

This guy asked if I needed****istance form the government. He could not speak English properly , when I told him that I didn't need****istance he s****ed to curse. I cursed back and told him he is a piece of garbage. This is a scam and if I could get my hands on him I would break his back.

I asked him to stop calling me. He said he'd have his buddy call me tomorrow. Made many of the same claims I've read below.

I was called by this number three times today and I finally answered it. I was an Indian man that s****ed telling me that I was picked for a 8000 dollar grant. When I told him I was not interested he s****ed cursing with the F word and calling me an F...ing B. And threaten me. When I said you do not call my number and talk to me that way he s****ing rambling on so****ing about Obama and we were going to die. I ***g the phone up and tried to call it right back but it just kept saying that this number is busy to try a***n later. How do we report this and to whom?

Nasty people! called 5 times today so I finally answered. Before they could talk I asked them to take me off there list and she yelled no do u want $8000 or not. I have already been down this road with a different number same scam. They want bank # or a perpaid card they can down load $ on. It is a SCAM people don't do it please.

just got a call same thing as everyone else. I said the government is so quick to want our taxes and slow to give it back there is no way in***** i was randomly selected to receive that much money. O.o i hate this **** though.

Multiple calls all day, answered one and was told that since I was a decent citizen and paid my taxes that the US treasury wanted to give me $8400 by bank to bank transfer. I told the man that I researched the number and knew it was a scam, then asked "is this a scam" he said yes, I told him to take me off of the list and ***g up. Then another man called back, I told him that I knew it was a scam and for them to take me off of the list. He responded by cursing F*** you, you F***ing Who**, C****e you F***ing number...I of course terminated the call and blocked the number on my cell.

Got the same US Treasury **** on calls almost all week. I was well aware of the scam but let it play out curious what they were going to ask for. Once the request for banking info came around, I said I would prefer a check. I said the US Postal system works fine and would prefer to receive my grant that way. He said he would transfer me to his supervisor but I had to give my grant confirmation number to the manager. He gave it to me as MF5433. As the Alphabet is often confused on the phone I asked him to phonetically*****ounce the letters. He then said sure M as in Mother and F as in Fu#$er. And then proceeded to cuss me out for wasting his time.....I was actually kinda impressed! So please feel free to leave bank info if for no other reason than to avoid the cussing out lol.

Same scam as others here. Except my caller refused to send it in the form of a check, even though they already had my address to send it to. As soon as the guy said the money would come in 40-45 minutes via bank-to-bank transfer, I knew what I was dealing with (actually, I pretty much knew the moment he said I had money coming to me, but I figured I'd stick around and make sure, since it's $8,000 we're talking about here... Hope does spring eternal.) He got a little snippy when he realized I had doubts about doing a transfer... Told me I didn't have to take the money if I didn't want to. I wished him luck finding someone ****** enough to fall for it and ***g up on him.

Unable to call number back - saying all circuits are busy - total computer dialing out random numbers to SPAM

I received a call on my cell phone saying that I had been chosen for some kind of cash reward. He wanted my banking details to transfer the funds. I told him that in NO way do I give such information over the phone or online. I told him to send cash, he agreed to a check. When? I get said check I will carefully scrutinize the check before bringing it anywhere near my bank.

Just called. Said "from US Treasury. I was elected to receive 8,000 loan which I do not have to pay back).

SCAM! They called asking for my banking information and credit card information. Claimed to be representatives of the US Treasury seeking to give me back $8,000.
