Defiantly phishing. Do not give them your information. If the federal government wanted to give you a grant they would know what account to deposit it into or would send you the check. Only a fool will fall for this.

they keep calling. me every day even 9:30 at night. first a indian male than a lady and today they called. from 330_622_4033

Adding to my previous post, I reported this number to my State's Attorney Generals Office. I found it on Facebook. If you are receiving these calls I suggest you do the same.

I have received 7 calls from this number. Each person calling, both men and women, have thick Indian accents. They tell me the IRS has money for me (usually about $8,000) and they want to know where to send it. They have my name but want other personal information. BEWARE OF CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!!!

Tired of these Asian-Indians calling me with an unsolicited intent......never spoke with them or done business with them. They call & **** up before completing their conversation....tempted to file a TCPA action on this caller......

Its the DOD, in DC, giving me a grant...from a guy with a heavy Indian accent.

received a call from a woman at this number with a heavy Haitian-creole accent telling me she worked for the U.S. Dept of Defense. That I had been selected to receive $1500 grant with no repayment necessary but I needed to provide a bank account number or card number to receive payment. Being that 3 of my children work for DOD- one civilian and two military- I knew this was false claims by the caller. When I posed questions she couldn't answer the conversation went south. She insisted without my banking info I was choosing not to receive my award. Also, as I have worked for the police department as a 911 operator/dispatcher, I am grossly aware of these schemes and have taken many reports from the poor folks that believe these scammers. Beware!
