These callers get very nasty if you try to ask any reasonable questions about how your name was selected or for a third party number to verify this with a local legislator's office. These same calls were originally coming from a number that was traced to Eastern Europe on reverse look-up and all callers have heavy accents that make it difficult to understand anything they are saying except for 'free money' and the amount quoted has c****ed several time. There has to be a way to find and prosecute these people.

They called stating they are calling for District of Columbia, ( which is Washington D.C.), and they act like they are the part of the government for giving grants etc... When I told them I am not interested, the operator got offended, call me "son of *****" and blabbered so****ing which sounded like Dumb ****** Russian/Ukranian type accent and ***g up on me.... there is no Call Back number for these guys...

Very difficult to understand. Said I was selected by the US government to receive a grant for 8500 dollars. Said I was selected because I parti****te in surveys? Not sure about that part. Then said I could do anything I want with the money and asked what I would do with 8500 dollars. I played along and said I would probably use it for home improvements. Then they said it would be a bank to bank transfer and I could put the money on any card I wanted. That is when I ***g up. Tried to call the number and said all lines were busy. Hope they don't take advantage of some elderly person. I really don't think this will go very far as they have all had very heavy accents. I'very had previous calls that I ***g up on.

I've been receiving phone calls from this number. First couple times I answered no one would speak. Today a middle Eastern man was saying so****ing hard to hear and understand him so I ***g up. Wouldn't surprise me if it was some kind of scam. For some reason I've been getting some random emails that are definitely scams. It seems to be happening more and more. Is there not some kind of organization out there that stops these people???

just got the call didnt think it legit so i gave them a bogy card# then he gave me another number yo call.i asked why did he take down my card# if im being directed to the treasury dept. He s****ed goun off on how im getting my money n he keeps repeating the $8400...lol jokes on them. But i did go to the actual distric of columbia page and emailed the mayor on these #s

******s they keep calling me and when I don't receive they do not even leave any voice message. Avoid their calls , they are trying to cheat if we fall for their ****** tricks.

keeps telling me that I have been chosen as one of 15 people to receive a grant from the US Government Treasury. All I have to do is pay for postage. Recently widowed and am sure this is a scam as he first asked for my debit card. When I keep telling him that I know this is a scam, he keeps asking me why don't i believe him! Says he is going to mail me so****ing. Trying to find out how to report this as he keeps calling from this number posted.

Just got this missed call from this number. No voice message left.

Annoying caller that calls everyday at the same time. First time I answered he said he loved me. After that, I never answered that number a***n.

Missed call from this number. Tried to call back but couldn't. It said that all the lines were busy. Or so****ing like that. @Cathy If you want to block a number from calling/texting you, you can get an app for that (assuming you are using a smartphone).

Annoyingly random phone calls with no message left

I received a call a 1:23 pm est, from this number I missed the call, but when you try to call it back it says all lines are busy, I always now do reverse lookups on any number that calls now. If I get a call from this number a***n I will report him to the Washington, D.C. Police on harassment charges. Thank you people for posting about this!!!

Spammer strong Indian accent. Says his name is Anthony Williams. he's obviously lying. Im sear****g it anyway .

get a real job instead of calling people that have busy lives aside from yours with a nothing to do lifestyle except to pester those who want nothing to do with you. shouting in your ear to quit calling doesn't phase you a bit.

they call me 4x a day, s****ing as early as 1030am up to 800pm everyday. he has a strong accent, will never say exactly what he wants but wants to know if hes talking to me. last time he said so****ing about the court. i have no idea what this **** wants. i have been nice and very rude . no matter what this **** keeps calling me back.how do i stop him
