as soon as i told them i thought it was a scam they ***g up on me.

Just received a call myself. It was exactly like what everybody else wrote. Imagine, our government giving out free money. Who in their right mind would believe that! Told them I was going to call the State Police, I really don't know who else to call, if they can't do anything, maybe they can direct me to someone who can.

Same with me and they won't stop calling

recieved call ill recieve 8,400 in grant money that i dont have to pay back money..at first i didnt think they could withdraw money without my pin number but it is possible so do not give out info anything!

When I got a call from this number the woman asked if she was speaking to (my name), when I said yes she ***g up immediatly

If you receive a call from 2026668041 this is definitely a scam. When I stated that I couldn't understand them and asked for someone who spoke better English the call was terminated.

Yes. I also got the call offering $8,400 in fed grant money. I also recorded the phone call. So, if anyone is ambitious enough to serve legal action a***nst this, Please contact me.

I, too, received a telephone call from (202) 666-8041 informing me that my name and number had been selected to receive a federal grant in the amount of $8,400.00. The lady I spoke with had very broken English and I had a difficult time understanding what she said. She did inform me that I did not have to pay taxes on the money or pay the money back. As soon as I inquired as to what I need to do in order to claim these funds and exactly how my name/number was chosen, she promptly disconnected the call. I attempted to call the number back in order to find out what company or agency this call was from, but, after three rings, I received an automated message stating that "All circuits are busy now. Would you please try your call at a later time." This just confirmed my su****ion that the original call was part of a telephone scam. This telephone number should be tracked and the person this number is****igned to should be punished. What can I do on my end to get the investigation s****ed? Thank you, Lisa
