Said I failed to appear for jury summons and tried to get me to pay $5,000. I called DC MPD and they confirmed this is a scam.

Anonymous This number has repeatedly called me to say I have "won" $ 2.5 Million. Today they called a***n to say that they will also be delivering a new 2025 Mercedes Benz S Class to me tomorrow when the bring me a check for 2.5 Million to deposit in my bank and that this check will take 2 days to clear. They want me to obtain a $ 435.12 MoneyPak/Scratch Card to them when the Mercedes is delivered. All this is said to happen 3-6-2025 at 11:30am.

I could barely understand what was said. Sounded like he was talking in a can and someone else was talking every time he said so****ing. Could make out that they received (so****ing) from law enforcement about (so****ing) and needed me to confirm my name and last 4 of SSN. *it took multiple times me asking him to repeat himself just to catch that* Said that I wasn’t comfortable giving that info over the phone and once a***n, couldn’t understand his reply. Swear it sounded so****ing like “—— going to get you” asked him to repeat a***n. He ***g up.
