responding to a craigslist rehoming listing. the ensuing text was the person on the other end was initiating a code for me to send back to ensure I was not spam before pictures of the animal were sent to me. I returned the code and the reply was it didn't work. Give a second phone number for another code, which didn't work either. I was texted what was needed was a third phone number. I became certain it was a scam to obtain a free account someplace****ociated with each phone number.

They stated my name and told me they were from the small business administration and to return their phone call.

He said I had won 7.5 million from a seniors only drawing. Then asked for $990 for a registration cost. I told him no way. He called me 4 times. He said his name was Kevin Watson.

They originally called me from a local number. When I told him he was not IRS, he ***g up and called from this number. I told him he was not a real IRS Agent because they would know exactly who they were calling. I called his bluff and told him it was a Federal crime to inpersonate a Federal Agent. I also told him I was tracking his number over the internet and the longer he stayed on the phone.

Blocked his cell number so he creates a new one. SMH

This is a total scam!! Tell them to go ***k themselves. First of all, they call at 7pm at night LOL! As if a government agency would call at that hour. That was the first dead give away. Second he asked me to confirm the number I was calling from. I’m pretty sure that’s not how the SS administration would verify your iden***y. Personally I like ***king with them making them think they got someone then when they ask for my card number I say, “Ok it’s 1111-111-1111..***K YOU!”

My husband received a phone call from this number with a threat that he hasn't responded to their demands and they (the U.S. government) would be taking him to court. For what, they didn't say. ****** SCAM.
