Leave a CommentHigher one is genuinely a company that processes refunds from student loans. They do process for UNT but they don't call you (that I know of). I got my refund on a higher one debit card but they charge you $2 every time you use it. Get your refund in a check!!

I got a call from this number, saying that I had a university refund waiting to be distributed, and that I should call the number on the back of the mysterious card and select a distribution option, so that I can receive the funds that were waiting for me. THEN they said to get online (and they gave me a website) to activate the card, in case I didn't get the card in the mail. It sounded super sketchy. Question: how the heck did they get my cell phone number??
