Craigslist scammer! They offer to pay by cashiers check (it’s fake!) and they want a friend to pick it up for them because they are moving etc. classic Craigslist scammer!

Joanna Tried to force me to ship an item they hadn't paid for on ebay. Used a fake "paypal" account to try to convince me money had been deposited into my account and I should ship the item. However when I checked my account there was no money there.

It's A.R.C.  Accounts Recovery Corporation,  just got a long recorded message from them

Dianne I have received mountains of calls from this number. They have never left a message and when I am there and pick up the phone to answer there are 2 clicks and then that's it, call is done. The number 204-800-3254 shows up on my display but all it says for name is long distance.  Just for the heck of it today I called the number back and of course it was a message.  Message said "You have reached Premier Reader's Club but due to a higher than normal number of calls no one is available to take your call.  Please leave a message and someone will get back to you." Right after this recorded voice is done another recorded voice comes on to say that the mailbox you want is full and cannot take any more messages.  Then a click and call is done.  How very convenient that they have things set up this way - they are deliberately stopping the public from telling them to stop calling and take your phone number off their calling list.  OK so where are all our wonderful politicians now to put an end to telemarketers being able to do this to us???

wpger caller contacted me on my cel and indicated he were calling from MTS about my phone service. said I had won a $100 credit on my next bill and asked if I was happy with the service. asked if I would consider swit****g services.  then asked me to give him my first and last names to verify.I asked him to tell me what names he had and I would let him know if this was correct.  he quickly ***g up.

Ya I got the same call and she got all rude with me she wanted to talk to my mother inlaw and I asked her who she was she said so****ing about a disney trip and she wanted her number and o said u can't tell me who u r u can **** up cuz I ain't giving u any information until u tell me who u r she ***g up

I had also won a trip to Disney from this number. I humored them for a bit and listened, But then they s****ed asking for my Mastercard information, I told the lady I wasnt comfortable giving that info and she just kept pestering me for it, which resulted in me eventuallt ****ing up. Stuff like this is so annoying and creepy!

aengus The usual "travel dollars" scam call, but this time I thought the recording said,"$200 in ca***ian travel dollars". Perhaps I misheard. For fun I pressed "1" and after being on hold for a bit (uh oh, what'll that cost me??) I was connected to a babbling telemarketer.  The only words I understood were "credit card number".  I asked to be put on the do not call list and was immediately connected to a recording which said, "You've been put on our do not call list" and ***g up.  I doubt that somehow.
