Dumby This maybe part of a Nigerian scam. They may want you to sell them so****ing and then send extra money in the form of a stolen check or a forged check or even a xeroxed copied check that you send to a "shipping" company which is really a bank account. Once you cash the fake check, you are actually responsible for all the money. Live by the motto: if it's seems too good to believe, then it is!

David What's the name of this company? Does someone know?
Julie Schaefer No phone calls from this number. Number was on a letter sent to me saying I won sweepstakes. The number is a cell phone number. Address in letter says Ottawa, Ontario Ca***a with K1P-1H4 as the zip code. The cell phone is really registered in Winnepeg. Ladie's name is Linda Rogers. Company name Dominion Financial Inc. I apparently won $125,000. Received very su****ious check for $2,950.00 - $2350.00 of which I am to pay for the applicable surcharges/government tax due on my winning. Check looks legitimate. Letter states I will not be asked for any bank account, credit card, or social security information.
Texas Gal SCAM Mystery Marketing - Called a number in the local paper about Customer Service Evaluator - got a check today for $2990.00. They want me to cash - keep $300.00 for 'training' and send the rest to a 'relative in Bristol, New Brunswick, Ca***a by the name of Justin Mark'. Believe this is yet another number of this Scam - heading on letter is MASTER RESERCH INC.
Flo Thia ia the second number being used by SCAM Mystery Marketing. See earlier post from Flo.

Marty This number belongs to a group of fraudulent individuals who claim to represent a company that deals with lottery or winning numbers. They send you what looks like a viable check from Citibank for $3,500, ask you to Moneygram them $2,920 to a Monica Lee in Atlanta, Georgia. Once the funds are confirmed, they will then send you the remainder of the earnings within a day. This is completely FRAUD. Their checks are fraudulent and you end up paying your bank for the money withdrawn. Your winning check never arrives. Additionally, their letter head claims the company they represent, SURVEYLOT.com, is headquartered in Mesa, Arizona. The phone number of that headquarters is not in Meza, Arizona, but rather Manitoba, British Columbia. Avoid calling anyone of these inviduals. The staff includes: Jerry Eden, Claims Director; a man named Dean, manager; and another woman whose name escapes me.
