i just received a call from this number about 2 mins ago.  when i answered, no one said anything.  I just called the # back to see who it is & the recording said BCR (Bureau Collection Recovery).  In my case, they were calling on behalf of Verizon Wireless.

I answered this and it's My Education Advisors. I'm assuming they're calling for those who have outstanding student loans, because that's what I have. I looked them up online and it verified it was a way to pay for college.

This number called for me; however, my wife answered the phone. Either a Hispanic or Asian person asked for me. My wife answered that "he is not here right now." The woman on the phone asked my wife, "are you ***** ******'s wife?", repeated. After that brief moment, the woman on the phone hung up. Any clues on who they are?
