I got a mortgage related spam at about the same time as Jo. It appears to be from a Birmingham Alabama cell phone number.  But I'm guessing it is a robo-message. "here is the Mortgage info- 30yr fixed rate 4.25% 15yr fixed rate 3.5% - you can save $400+ each month- do you still want a loan? please text me Yes or No"Is it just made to look like a wrong # to get around the do not call list?

This person sent me spam via an unwanted text message.  I don't know how they got my information.

I got the same message Shane got today (4/3. Will follow up with no call registry..Don't know is the finance co. was the same though; I didn't open the message.........

Got a text from this number saying "Do you need some money this week ? Go to www.24hrcash.com. Takes only 3 min to apply. Get up to $1500 today!' It was funny it was a local area code number to me, but it was still unwanted spam.
