Leave a CommentThese people have called me also today, had all our info, ssn, street address, etc. Through the thick middle eastern accent, which he said his name was Officer Jeff Williams....yeah right....I even asked for a badge # which he could not give to me. These people can get serious jail time for impersonating an officer of the law. I advised him to speak with my attorney, he got upset and ***g up on me. I tried calling back and they told me to never call there a***n. I checked with my bank and they said there was NO PAY DAY LOAN of any kind deposited into my account. THIS IS ALL A SCAM!!!!!!
On April 9th 2010 I recieved a call from Max Greene, He identified himself as being a federal investigator. During the call he threatened that I would be locked up for not paying $598.00, in which he was claiming that I had a online payday loan in my name for that amount. I advised him several times that I only had 2 loans on which I was paying. I continued to ask for do***ents proofing that it was so****ing that I should be paying. He told me that after my final payment posted to my bank account I would recieve all the do***ents that he had. Since I did not want the burden of wondering if I was going to be arrested I went ahead and paid the $598.00 in 3 bi-weekly installments. At this time I had to fax a "handwritten" credit card authorization to him. My last payment went through my bank on 5/10/10. As of this date I have received no paperwork supporting his claims. When my payments posted to my bank account they showed up as American Credit Crunch & Sanders Legal Group. On May 19th 2010 I a***n received yet another phone call, this time from a Matthew Rodgers. He to advised that he was a Financial Crimes Investigator. This time he was claiming that I had a payday loan in the amount of $1,986.00. I told him that I only had 2 loans on which I have been paying. He told me that he would put a warrant out for my arrest if I did not set up a payment. I advised him that I did not have that kind of money just laying around. He put me and hold & came back with a "settlement Offer" in the amount of $1,552.00. I a***n told him that I did not have that kind of money. He advised that I had untill the end of May to come up with the money. I told him that I would call him back on 5/20/10 to discuss this matter further because I was at work and couold not talk. On 5/20/10 he called me at 10:24 11:08 on my cell phone and left 2 very ignorant messages. At 11:12 a.m. he called me at my workplace at which time he told me my "deadline to set up payment" was 12:00 p.m or he was going to proceed with the legal actions. I told him that I did not want to anything that I was in contact with a private investigator at which time he advised me he was going to contact my work supervisor and proceed with the legal actions. On 5/20/10 I contacted a private investigator at which time he advised me that I had been scammed. He advised me to cancel my bank card since the 1st payment had my information.
My call was from officer John Petterson. Wanting to speak to me about ss# before he sends police to my residents. Aslo has a very thick accent he sounds to be from Africa. He called my job and began to swear when not given info " f... you! You mother f....er!"
