Amazon Delivery - Driver couldn't get into the building

Got a call from this # (registered in Seattle, WA as a land-line) one minute prior to Amazon package being delivered (though it was delivered to a different door step... Ps***). But my phone # isn’t registered on that Amazon acct... do how did I end up receiving 2 back-to-back phone calls? Coincidence...??? ?

Said Amazon delivery for the wrong name. I actually did have a delivery that day, but that was not my name. Also, the phone number I have on file to "help with deliveries" is different.

Could not find my place because their map was incorrect. Was just looking for directions.

Questionable! Called three times but left no message. Listed as Amazon on caller ID but not an Amazon number from website. Do not answer.

My caller ID says Amazon Prime? No voicemail

It looks like Amazon drivers use this same # as a caller ID. He/She was trying to contact me cuz couldn't get through the security gate. Called me (I didn't answer and NO voice message) and texted me the package had been left outside the gate, which was there so it is confirmed this number is from an Amazon driver.

This was from an Amazon Prime Delivery person. Instead of coming to the door and ringing the doorbell, he called me. Not recognizing the number on a Sunday afternoon, I didn't answer the phone. I saw him in the drive and went out side (in the snow) to flag him down. He got back into the vehicle and left. Without leaving my packages.

Yes, it WAS Amazon delivering my package. Needing to get into my building to leave it in the lobby so no one steals it from the porch!

Got 2 calls in a couple of minutes. Came here to look it up, saw it might be Amazon, so I headed to my driveway. Sure enough there was a guy with my package! Surprised me though as he was in a regular car, but he did have an Amazon badge. Shortly after he scanned my package with his phone, I got a text saying it had been delivered! Pretty cool!

Amazon’s calling system connects through Seattle, WA. This should be a driver attempting to deliver your package.

Called does not identify. Called four times in a row twice today.

This phone is OK - just a person trying to deliver your package.

Caller said he was Amazon Delivery. As soon as I repeated “Amazon delivery” he ***g up. I’ve ordered nothing from Amazon to deliver so this IS spam and likely a phishing attempt.

This was not spam --- it's definitely Amazons delivery service. They seem to use this instead of knocking in mult****artment buildings, if they can't get to your specific apartment
