I just received a call from this number, which I did not recognize or answer..............no message!! Caller I D shows Brunswick, Maine

Linsy I'm back to thank Candice for her suggestion. I called 866-246-7196 and it did work to stop the phone calls.

I have no idea why I am on these ****** call lists. I do not want these people calling me.

THE LATEST SCAM FROM THE BUYERS OF OLD DEBTS (LEGALLY UNCOLLECTABLE DUE TO THE STATUE OF LIMITATIONS), IS TO CALL AND SPEAK WITH YOU...  IF THEY CAN SHOW A COURT, THEIR PHONE RECORDS SHOWING THEY HAD  (IN FACT) SPOKEN WITH YOU,ALL THEY NEED TO DO THEN- TO RESURRECT THE OLD DEBT, AND RES**** THE STATUE CLOCK, IS SWEAR THAT YOU MADE A PROMISE TO PAY.. OF COURSE THAT WOULD BE A LIE..  TRY AND GET THE RULING REVERSED..????????.  THEY NOW CAN LEGALLY HARRASS YOU FOR THE NEXT 3-5 YEARS, ON A DEBT THAT WAS LEGALLY A DEAD ISSUE...DON'T SPEAK TO ANY OF THESE BOTTOM FEEDERS...  IT'S ALL A SCAM

Have had calls from this number. It's a recorded voice from "Bryant Hodges and****ociates", or so****ing like that. Never a person, just a recorded voice. As if they are calling to see if I'm home. I have no idea what they want, I just **** up on them.I'm sure it will do no good to block the number since these kind of people will just call from a different one. I'm not going to give them the satisfaction of calling them back, or staying on the line, since they won't state what they want.All I know is that they are from Portland, Maine, and I know noone there!

The number showed up as stimulus help on my phone. I picked up and it was a recording.

I got this too and wondered if it was because I have a 504 (New Orleans) area code.  The number it told me to dial was (504)754-7835.  The funny thing is that I don't live there anymore and randomly got the text while I was there in the city.  Jefferson Parish is a suburb of the New Orleans metro area.  I looked up some info online and it looks like it's from the the Jefferson Parish Federal Credit Union (FCU).  See this link:  www.jpefcu.org/   Maybe they just got some random numbers to text?  I don't know how that happened.  Anyway, that's my best guess!

I figured out the easiest and effective way to stop the calls.  I called 877-646-7319 last week. I spoke to a live person who had my phone number removed from the callers list and I haven't gotten anymore calls.

called 4 times today, will not leave message when call goes to voicemail. I am on the DO NOT CALL Registry.
