I have been getting repeated calls from this number for weeks. Once even after 9pm. It is a recorded message about "lowering your credit card interest". Today I listened all the way through hoping to eventually speak to a live person. A man came on the line and I told him I am on the do-not-call registry and told him to remove my number from their lists. HE REFUSED. He actually flat out said "NO." He was arrogant and smart-mouthed and said "Do you know what company I'm calling from?" "How do you know we don't have a prior business relationship?" I said that what I do know is that they have to remove me if I request it. And he said no a***n, and then said, "How about if I call you to tomorrow to see if your at***ude has c****ed?" The number shown on my caller ID is 207-493-2647 but no name comes up with it. A reverse directory search did not come up with a name either. A web search came up with this page. I have filed complaints with both the Do Not Call Registry and the FCC.
