Placed ad for comforter set on Markertplace in Glasgow, KY. Got answer within 10 minutes from a Corrine E. from this phone #209-294-0149. She wanted to come pickup up immediately and pay cash. It was dark in the evening on February 6th 2022. I text back and asked if we could wait till next day since late. She said yes then immediately asked if she could send code??yes or no?. I asked code? Never heard of such. Then she asked a***n. Can I send code.? Then she said: actually lot of fake seller in here. This code is prove you are real. Only real seller got the code. I have worded exactly as she worded. I found when I was hacked they do not use correct wording as they are of a different nationality. Immediately my alarms went up because I’ve sold before and people do not ask that. I said ok. I already felt I was working with a scammer so I wanted to see how far this was going to go. She already had my phone number and asked me for code I received by text. She said sorry this cell number is not allowed. Ok now I know for sure. To sell and buy normal everyday things you do not check out peoples phone numbers. She asked for another number which I told her I did not have one. Then she asked for another family members phone number. I told her my number wasn’t showing probably because I had it locked because recently I was hacked and I have everything on watch. I told her I’m not sure I wanted to give her anymore information because she was s****ing to make me leery. Then she asked if she could send me a code?? Yes or no? I asked. : are we doing it a***n? If so it will just do it all over a***n. It will all be useless. I told her I was hacked recently for over $7,000 so I’m leery of what you’re doing. I told her it sounds like either you’re either a scammer or not or I’m a scammer or not and neither of us trust the other because both of us have been scammed or are the scammer. I didn’t hear from her after that. So she was scamming is what I****umed. I did a search and found the phone number lead back to this name and address. It necessarily doesn’t mean this person or address is the actual person in action as when I was scammed they were impersonating a real company using their name and simulating their logo.
