They knew my social security number and my name and claimed to be a 3rd party collection agency. I don't have anything in collections

Yet another thief stealing my time. Look forward to the day we meet, clear up this missed message.

Obvious scam...IRS would not call and state you have 24 hours to resolve back tax issue, or the police will arrest you! You would be inundated with threatening letters first and they would not be calling from California!!

Did not answer as it was an unknown number as unavailable but left message that I was to be arrested if I did not call the number they left. It definitely did not sound legitimate as well as I have no problem with the IRS.
