Tami IRS will arrest you in 25 min if you don't pay 2,000. You must use Western Union and have a cell phone. Huge scam, please don't ever give money over the phone from this number.

Jake Man called saying he was with the IRS Crime Investigation Department and wanted me to call back as soon as possible. The IRS does not call, they send you a letter. I did not bother to call him back but I knew it was a fraudulent scam.

HS Got a call from a lady who, as previous commentators have mentioned, had a very heavy accent to the point where I could not understand more than a few words. Then I realized that she was calling because of the websites I just bought on godaddy.com. And then I realized that she found my info not necessarily through godaddy.com but because I chose to keep the sites' registration info public. So I have now made at lease some of those sites private.

Could not understand the lady, very strong accent. She was saying something about design. I just hung up after a few minutes of really trying to understand what she was saying.

M A woman called me an mispronounced my name. She said she was from "website designing company" and I have contacted a lot of wedding vendors recently, so I asked what kind of business it was and she stopped speaking. After a few moments of silence, I just hung up.

It could have been anything from an attempt to sell me a product to an attempt to get me to post a job announcement on student boards in the college. Despite several efforts there was no way that I could understand the caller, who spoke with a deep accent. I did try - but I'm not sure what they wanted or why. I do believe though that ti was a corporation, because it appears to be a VOIP number, despite the fact that this site thinks its mobile.

Nunya Local Honda dealer uses these people to call and tell me I better get my car in for check-up, oil change, or whatever. They knew my name and that I drive a Honda, so this isn't technically spam. It's just my personal information being used to harass me.

Anonymous Yes I received an illegal Marketing call from this number saying it was ADT Security, my number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST as well.

The call came from a mobile phone in CA and the caller offered some kind of "oil change" deal on my car that I bought in FL and I'm currently in TX. Definitely spam.

HBn Got a call from this after 8 pm on a weeknight. It had an automated message for an ADT alarm system sales call, but I called ADT and they didn't have this number on their list of sellers. However, it is possible that it is a dealer calling from a home phone, ADT wasn't sure.

Left no message. Caller ID says "CDPT." Probably spam.

Got a call from this number. Could hear call center noise in background. Caller had a Texan/southern accent. Ask to talk to me using a last name that I haven't used for over 13 years. I said no one lives here with this name. If it was BOA like others have reported, I have no business with them.

This is from the Bank of America. They do not leave a message, however I am a BOA customer.

Just recieved a call from this number that I did not reconize, did not leave number.

Received call at 10:35 am.  Call ID says # is from Stockton, Ca.  I don't know anyone in that area.  They did not leave a message.

caller ID says: California Calling then the number 209-451-5191.  They call but never leave a message.  It's very annoying.

LS Someone called me from this number and asked for a name. I said they had the wrong number and hung up. They immediately called me back. I pressed the ignore button.

Received my second call from this number.  During the first call, I asked them to add me to their do not call list (I had already registered my number with the federal do no call registry).  When I received the call today, the lady was rude and kept talking until I said. "You have just violated the do not call registry".  She immediately hung up.  I have always thought to myself, it really doesn't do any good to tell them to add your number to their do no call list, as none of those companies ever do what they are told.

They claim to be a "consumer debt relief" company.  They were trying to talk me into their "free" program to reduce unsecured debt.  When I told the lady with a foreign accent that I was not interested and that I would not ever be interested in any financial services via a cold call, she would not take no for an answer.  I finally had to hang up on her.

I have no business with Bank of America, yet they "hang-up" call me nearly every day.  Must be a scam.
