Just got a call from Dynamic Recovery Solutions regarding an old Well Fargo debt (over 10 years ago). Note to anyone who reads this: they are a collection trying to collects on old - outdated debts. They either bought the debts from another agency for pennies on the dollar or from the company themselves (doubt the second option due to the age of the debt). Also, for a secured/signed debt laws states the original creditor must take legal action within 6 years, 3 years on an unsigned debt (i.e.: utility bill, etc.) or the debt to be valid. At this point they are trying "cream" the debt to see if they can get someone to settle it for about 50% (or less) and make you think you got a good deal. Due to the age of the debt AND before anyone pays (or settles) - check with your credit bureau to see if it is still there. If it is not - don't pay anything - it's too old to take any action. If it is - only offer a SMALL settlement (s**** at 20%) - of course they will say "NO" but hold out for as little as possible (a month or more). By the way - the best time to "settle" a debt is close to the end of the month. Why? Because the collector/Collection Manager/Collection Agency are trying to "hit" their goals and they are more willing to accept anything. If you decide to settle do not send ANY $$$ until you get so****ing in writing indicating they are going "remove the debt from all credit reports"

Seemed aggressive & rude!

This person called my phone and didn't identify himself. He only said that someone needs to return the call and he also gave a false company name. I was very su****ious of him.because of his at***ude.
