They never say anything when they call just **** on the phone ...Total spam!

Spamming for access to personal computers.... I managed to get off a few choice words before blocking number..... Love my Call Blocker.

"Card Services"??? Lower may credit card rate. They ***g up on me when i asked to be removed from their call list.

I wonder if they have a woman, or women, working for them also. I received a call from a very thickly speaking Indian woman telling me I have a problem with my computer this morning, funny that seeing as she fetched me off it and nothing wrong. I couldn't understand anything else she was rabbiting on about so told her to ring later when my husband home. I rang 1471 but number withheld which seems unusual. Anyway tonight I had a call from +1210-249-0540 which seems a bit of a coincidence, this call I ignored as it came up on my mobile screen what do you think ?

I received a call from “Peter at Windows Technical Support”, caller ID said: Novatel with a phone number of: 210-249-0540. He had a very thick Indian accent. He informed me that my computer was sending event logs to Microsoft and that my computer was infected with viruses and malware. I have all logs turned off. He explained how he could get someone to help me (so generous of him, considering he’s a complete stranger). He walked me through how to pull up the Event Viewer and see all the “Errors” and “Warnings”. He was telling me to hit Control, Windows and "R". I pretended nothing happened and he walked me through how to do it by going into Windows and sear****g. Told me that he could have someone help get my computer clean. He had me filter the current logs by "Critical", "Warning" and "Error" which showed some errors. One of the warnings had a high number and I was informed that my computer was very infected. He was under the impression that I was falling for this scam so he transferred me to another gentleman (Rick) who instructed me to download Team Viewer (teamviewer.com - is a legit company, but you should not ever download so****ing like this unless you are sure of the purpose of the person using it. It allows them complete control of your computer, so unless it’s a known IT Person, etc DO NOT DO THIS!) and then give him the ID number and password. Said that he generated that ID from Microsoft (complete lie!). When I was hesitant to give him the numbers he suggested another website (ammyy.com - a***n, appears to be legit, but DON’T do this!) I told him I was leery about doing this one as well he asked if he could call me back after I checked out the 2 websites. I told him I’d rather call him. He did give me a phone number of: 347-281-7937 but that anyone could help me. For w***ver gets a call from these people: DO NOT download anything or give them any type of personal or sensitive information! I keep getting calls from this number. It sounds like a fax screech and then stops.

Said they were with the legal dept of the US treasury ( in his heavy Indian accent) They've left several messages. Caller ID shows Texas or Novatel. When I ***g up on him, he actually called back demanding to know why I ***g up on him!

Scam phone call. Complaint has been filed with National no call list for dialing a number registered on the list.

These are scammers - **** a whistle down the line. It might burst an eardrum (which will heal) and put them off calling you in future.

I have received two call on my mobile from this number. The first time I answered but there was no one there. I'm in the UK so don't know why anyone in Texas would be calling me.

Man with heavy India accent left a partial message, it was too scratchy to understand.

This number just called my cell phone. Rang once and then ***g up. Heard on the news that the BBB have had reports of scammers doing this so you call the number back. Once you call the number back they try to keep you on the phone for as long as they can cause you will be charged anywhere from $49-$200+ for that return phone call. You are unable to dispute the call because you called the number in question.

They called harassing my elderly parents, cussing at them and called them f****** ******ed! Who are these people?!

Have received numerous calls. They "say" they are from the "Windows Tech. Dept" and want me to get on to my computer and follow their instructions because they are receiving deceptive "signals" from my computer and they want to clear it up. Right. Like I am falling for that!!!!

we do not answer calls outside of our area code unless we know the party. this is definitely a spam call. what in gods name do they get out of this behavior? we use a reverse phone number lookup to get a general ideal of where the phone is located. it only takes one bad apple in the barrel.

a foreign accented guy called me from this number last night. he first asked for my ex and i said no one by that name lives there, then he proceeded to recite my address and other info about my location. he was difficult to understand but i was able to make out my demographics and did not appreciate it. i asked what he was calling about and he ***g up. the name that came up with the number is novatel and when i try calling 210-249-0******ck, the number does not ring, it just disconnects

received very harassing phone calls from this number. first they called to offer free quickbooks upgrade and when their offer for an appt was rejected they kept calling back and yelling on the phone! crazy! they even called back blocked after we didnt pick up and still kept screaming. this is insanity!

I condtantly receive phone calls from this number all day long on my cell phone. I have registered with  the " Do Not Call" list but it doesn't seem to mean anything. I added phone number blockage on my cell for an additional 4.99 per month. Now this and about 5 other unwanted numbers have been blocked from calling me!!!!! How ridiculous!!!

Just recived a call about half hour ago here in Ireland (17:35 dec 5th 2008) A lady answered but she sounded like a robot lady! I ***g up before she could get two words in go me. only the one call mind you i feel sorry for the people getting ****arded.DONT ANSWER THIS NUMBER.

This number showed up on my phone 7 times today, the 2nd of December.I thought it was Ft. Sam Houston calling about so****ing from the Army haha

I got a phone call from this number at 8:36pm and when i answered i instructed the caller that it was too late in the evening to be calling my home for telemarketing. the caller then began to argue with me, refused to remove my number from the call list and also refused to put a manager on the phone.

This number keeps calling my mobile - over and over a***n.  I've tried to call them back - but I only get a recording that doesn't allow enough time to leave a message.  I keep telling them it is the wrong number and to please correct it when they call.  TO no avail, it continues to happen.  Will this ever end?

My experiene is the same as MCD.  My caller ID said Novatel, but there was no answer when I picked up.

i have seen this number going around since last year so all the *****ing and reporting is not doing anything so i give up. its like yahoo with bots someones making money to send them and keep them alive .

The caller ID said Novatel.  There was no answer on the other end when I picked up the phone.  I'm betting it was an autodialer.

This number called me at my work number today and the person on the phone had the last 4 digits of one of my credit cards. She told me a "marketing partner" gave them that information because I was such a good customer. She could not tell me who that marketing partner was. She promised I would not have to pay anything and was under no obligation to purchase anything. I just had to review the material being mailed to me along with a gas gift card that was mine to keep. I spoke to her supervisor who then informed, after I quizzed her over and over a***n, that I would have to call and cancel after the trial period. I told her I did not want them to mail me anything and she ***g up on me.

I am blocking all calls that are soliciting donations, contributions etc.

This number has called my number twelve times in the past 24 hours.  No one ever answers, when I called the number back no one answered that way either.

I would suggest calling the Federal Trade Commission (1 877 FTC-Help) to report the company if you are registered on the National Do Not Call Registry.

I am also having the same problem, except who ever it is calls my office phone line all day long every 30mins or so and when I answer they **** up. I finally took the number down and called it back but got no answer. Has anyone figured out how to get these people to stop calling?

I am having the same problem with this number 11 times yes****ay and 8 already today at 1:00  Everyone is writing about the problem how do we stop them.  Who do we have go after them?

My elderly mother has been getting 5-6 calls from this number each day and there is never anyone on the other line.  This is harrasment.  who is this and how can they be stopped?

I've been having the same issues as everyone else, but they've called my phone ELEVEN times in the past 24 hours. When I answer, the number ****s up. When I call back, there is no answer. And apparently, there is no way to block them.

This number called me 9 times yes****ay, it's eleven o'clock today and they've already called me 3 times.  No one's ever at the other end of the line, and when I try to call back nothing picks up.  I'm pretty unhappy about this.

Received 5 calls from this number today.  Finally on the 5th call they decided to talk to me (***g up on the first 4).  A lady with a foreign accent  gave her name as Gina Roberts.  She was calling from "getyourdegree.net.  I stopped her at this point and informed her I was on the national do not calllist and that I would be reporting her and her company.  SHe s****ed to give me a story of "this is my first time..." but I stopped her and told her I didn't care.  She then ***g up.  I was able to get the company name and her name out of her.

Recieved a call at my office.  There was noone on the line.  Hit *69 and got this number.  Called back and noone picked up.

Another illegal telemarketer. They sprout up like poison mushrooms. Get out the **** ****er and exterminate them from business - throw the s***bag owner and their employees in jail where they belong. Yes, also the employees need to be thrown in jail because they know they are involved in an illegal operation and profit from it in the form of a paycheck or bonus money.

I received a call from this number. When I picked up the phone a voice said in spanish that a call was going to be transfered to my line. I picked down.After that I have received 2 calls from the same mumber, I have not answered them.I live in Spain and I know this is a phone from San Antonio, Texas.My Telephon Company gives me no info on these calls.

A girl speaking spanish called me offering an internet service. She spoke spanish and tried to mantain me at the phone with several quastions till I **** down, When I recall that number ***ody answered
