I received a call about the legal proceedings a***nst me. There was no legal do***ents being served to me yet. I did not call the number back because I have not receive any formal court papers served in person. It is possible that this number is a robocall or a scam.

Abby They called at lest twice on my cell and I was unable to answer, but they left no message. If they are debt collectors, as other sites claim, they shouldn't be calling me, since I have no debt of any kind.

I get calls from this number, a "private number", 000-000-0000 and 1-800-247-4047... and I swear it's the same woman every time!  She phones twice a month, and I'm at the point now where as soon as I hear "Ontario business development office"  I just **** up on oh her without a word.  When the calls first s****ed coming in, these *****s claimed they were calling from "Ontario chamber of commerce", which I called, and the exasperated woman (who obviously had a large number of these calls) told me me to ignore them as it's a scam.  Now they've c****ed their story and by the looks of it, tailor their s***ch to whomever they are scamming and their location.  The problem is, it's almost impossible to ignore/report them as they call from several number that are usully bogus.  I hope one day they just call the wrong person and end up getting caught!  It's annoying, unneccessary and gettting rather old...

Same thing. We are in San Diego. We have been getting calls for a year now asking about our move (we're not moving). East Indain accent with boiler-room noise & voices in the background. Caller said she was from "The State of California Business Development Office." No such thing, as far as I know.  I asked her if that was a "real" government agency, and she just stated the name a***n.

Guy said he was calling from the Yellow Pages and was updating our record. I told him that our phone company had confirmed the information with our phone service provider. He said that this was different and for the book that we get every year. I told him that we didn't get one or need one, thanked him for calling and ***g up.

I am from Serbia. This morning, a woman with accent, call me several times, with an business offer. I dont know what to do. Please help

I had a couple of calls on caller ID from this number this morning and rang it back.  The calls are coming from a telemarketer s****ing the number of a legit auto/motorcycle parts business in San Antonio, which they are understandably not the least bit happy about.  It smacks of the "Card Services" scammers M.O.  Don't take your frustrations out on the guys being s****ed...there is nothing a s****ing victim can do about it.

Constantly call selling drugs

We've been getting these calls for years.  First from the "Ontario Business Development Office", now from the "Metro Toronto Business Development Office".  Judging by the questions they as about moving, sounds like it could be related to a real estate company.  The calls may not actually be a total scam, but the official-sounding name of the "Business Development Office" is misleading.  Essentially seem to be a telemarketer.

Called left no message. Called back said it was LTD. Had the wrong number.

Say's he's a lawyer who wishes to send me information regarding some matter. I ask for confirmation such the company's name and his as well as for the reason for his call. Didn't give me any and ***g up. Sounds su****ious to me since it doesn't sound like it's from an office and you can hear a lot of background noise as if they are outside. Very su****ious indeed.

A woman who identified herself as Raquel called and said she was with the IRS. When I went to take the call she had already disconnected. I called the number back and you can not get through.

i received a call from a number, 1017. they asked by name. my cell phone has been receiving these types of calls sporatically. i am not sure who they are but would like to know

I agree. I just received the call from them. The lady said they were calling from the State of California Business Development Office. LOL! 210 - area code looked fishy already! She asked me whether we moved and give her my new address!!! Keep dreaming! I asked who said we were moving, and she replied that somebody called me from their office a month ago! Yes she called me, NOT! Some scammers probably!

Called my business to inform me they (live person) were doing an update to "their" local yellow pages and wanted my company's name, address, phone, number of employees...  I just ***g-up

Appears these numbers are from a telemarketer i don't let them get far into their sales pitch. But they don,t get it No means No. 210-249-1423, 210-249-1422, 210-249-1415, 210-249-1405, 210-249-1402, 210-249-1330, 210-249-1327, 210-249-1325, 210-249-1321, 210-249-1315, 210-249-1314, Always the same guy keeps calling back.

Calls but leaves no message - number is from Texas - but no other info

i keep getting phone calls from 210-249-1424 and 210-249-1329. dont know who they are, but if they dont stop they are gonna catch an earful.

Received 8 calls over several days, all at different times, with no messages left. This number is from the San Antonio TX area. I called back the 8th time and heard "We're sorry, the phone number you are trying to reach has been disconnected, or is no longer in service. Code PWC5".

These numbers keep calling my teenager. Any clue who they are or what they want?

Guy with thick arab accent called claiming that I was his customer and bought some medicine from his company and wanted to confirm my billing address. I never bought any medicine from any companies, except local chain drugstores, so it sounded rather fishy.
