Telemarketer. When I asked multiple times"who are you calling ?" , they just repeat their opening statement. I told them if they don't know who they are calling, I will not speak with them.

This number keeps calling the house with a message saying "Hey this is Veronica,I know you know my number call me back"

I got a call from it also and called them back. It is a company called 'Lonestar ***le Loans'. I am from SD, and have never been anywhere near TX...

Obviously you work there or worked there because you rattle off the main types of debts that Spears goes after...for the record Phillip Spears has never succesfully sued a debtor that wrongfully sued him, although I'm sure he is dumb enough to keep trying.  Secondly ID Theft does happen everywhere but legitimate corporations like the one's you mention at least try to prevent it rather then just ignoring it and pretending that it doesn't exist.  And imho, most of the stuff TAM/PAJ/SDH/OH does is illegal...specifically, they don't send 1st notices on most of the debt they acquire, they leave deceptive messages about "tax time" and PAJ doesn't even have a license or bond to collect anywhere in the states-which means the entire operation is operating in violation.  Good luck, I'd put my resume together.

They are very hostile and you can't get any informaton from them.  Collection. Agency  out of San Antonio, TX Spears & Dewitt Main number 866-334-1819.  I Found out who they were collecting for and pd the small amount to the company soThose rude people wouldn't collect commission.

I received call, did not leave message

Recieving calls from this number for my boyfriends ex-wife. How they obtained this number I have no clue, as the phone is not in his na*****e first answer was this was the last contact number they had. I believe they are looking for his son, who shares the same name, and perhaps the mother co-signed and the son had given this number as another reference.I do believe it is a collection agency. Stated they are not allowed, under federal law to disclose the reason for the call. Well now they have her number and can harass her. We live in NY, she lives in Texas. Weird.
