This person is very rude and if he is looking for a donation he will never get it from the gate keeper as he called me!

I researched AmVets and I believe that this is a for-profit company that calls to raise donations for a charitable organization.  Of course, it's hard to know how much of my donation actually goes to the charity.

Joe Burns---11533 Austin HwyAmerican Veterans****ociation  He says sanctioned by Congress in 1947.Also says it takes 6 monhts to 1 year for Veterans from Iraq to get any benefits processed by Veterans Administration which is now the Department of Veteran Affairs, I think.
