Leave a CommentI received a call on 12/5/10 asking if I was interested in ordering a medication. I questioned the guy just who made this medication and he rattled off some company he said was located in New Jersey. I then asked if this was legal and of course he said yes. He then said I would have to have a money order to pay for it. I knew then so****ing was wrong but played the game, knowing I was not going to get any money order. Today I got a call from Officer Wallace stating he was from the DEA. He said I had committed a felony by ordering these meds and that I could serve 3-5 yrs in a federal prison, pay fines and would need a federal attorney. Long story short, he wanted me to wire $2,500 to a Judge clerk Betanches to pay a fine so I wouldn't go to prison. He also said I would receive court do***ents I would have to sign and send back. The kicker was, he told me not to inform any third parties, not even my husband. I told him I could talk to our local police and he said not to as this was a federal case. I eventually ***g up on him. (He called back 4 times but I never answered) My husband and I both went to the DA and the local police. They called the number on my cell phone and got an answering ma****e. I've not gotten another call from them since. All I can say is if you want meds, get them at Walmart!!! I can't believe people do this kinda thing!
THIS IS A SCAM. Read the DEA's warning here http://www.justice.gov/dea/pubs/states/newsrel/2010/denver111010.html
Major scam. Do not answer.
I just had the same call tonight from the commander Linwinski with the DEA and I was told to call her back. A man named Jacob called back and told me that I had ordered meds online about 5 years ago and they were coming from a 3rd world country. He said this was agsinst the law and I would be arrested. I asked for his badge number and he avoided the answer by asking another question. He wanted to know what state I was in. I told him that he can look it up himself since he knew all about me. He said he was going to punch it in the computer and call me back. I ***g up and he called right back stating that his commander Linwinski will be in the morning around 9:00 AM and she would call me back with all of the information. Before he ***g up he told me that there would be a search warrant for my house and person issued. He wanted to know what time they can call back tomorrow night. I told him the same time as now. So I call the DEA office locally and tell them about the phone call. Be aware of this. I don't think it's real but they haven't call me back yet.
Didn't leave a message.
this number called me several times.
December 2 - Just got a call from this number and as with the others, the woman idenified herself as Commander Linwinski with the DEA at Extention 119. She gave the number for me to return the call once I had gone to the bank to withdraw cash. She said that two officers would be at my house to arrest me for purchasing illegal drugs from the Dominican Republic and for selling them and that I would immediately be extradited to the DR unless I went to my bank and took out $5K cash and sent it to the DR immediately, before 7 pm their time. It was, according to her, the only way to resolve the matter with a civil complaint, avoid adverse press and to avoid an arrest by DEA agents. Since she had an actual but old address and a current phone number, I decided to go directly to my local police and local Narcotics Division to report the call. I gave them her name and. They obviously confirmed that never would a real agent(s) would make such a call, make such threats and/or demands, etc.
They are still active at this number extorting money in the dea scam..... watch out!!!
Got an urgent message from federal officer David Wallace in NY. He told me that due to activity online that I've research online for percriptions 3 years ago that a fed. agent was coming to my house with a search warrent, that they were going to arrest me and my husband for conspiricy. I would be due in court on Monday in NY. I told him no way was that going to happen, he proceeded to read off my charges and I could spend up to 5 years in federal prison. I s****ed get mad, and he got mad, said he was calling the customs officers and car was coming to pick me up. When I call my husband on the other line, he heard me and said that we both were going down. But he could try to work with the officials to get our charges down to community service, or a fine.He then "got on the radio" and told the officers to come and get me. I was so angry with him, and the situation, after ****ing up with my husband I called the custom dept. in my area, explained it to them and the customs agent said it was a scam and they don't do things like that. This A** even told me that because a child in Missouri had gotten into these drugs and died, that this is now on me because I was conspiring with these online pharmacy's overseas. What can be done to stop these people, If I were an 80 yr old lady i could have had a heart attack, this guy was good I had me in tears.
This person need to be stopped
I would be up for gutting Major Tanner for the pig that she is! My nightmare s****ed with me placing an order for some things which I was later told were "confi****ed" by the DEA (e.g. Maj. Tanner) and I would lose my order, my money and be fined **X number of dollars which must be paid within so many hours (once within so many minutes!). My question to everyone out there is, "Are you ready and willing to go after these people?" "There surely is a way to shut them down and 'put them down' that would not come back to bite those who were frightened enough to have actually paid these people!" Let me know via this site, I guess, but if you are not allowed, say so on this site and I will find a way to get back to you. Ok?
This number called saying that an DEA Officer Tanner was going to arrest me within 45 minutes unless I paid a $4500 fine to be wired via western union to the Dominican Republic. Police walkie talkies blaring in the backround and threats of extradition and incarceration. What a scam. Be wary of any calls like this!!!
said they were dea and wanted me to send a western union to dominican republic..... or they would arrest me and extradite me to the DR
