Got a call from this number to day same thing happened to me, never called them back tried looking them up on line alot of bull s**t, found you guys with all the same stories....Women on the VM sounded in a rush to record it, I feel like calling them back an telling them to go f*** selves! BE WARE OF THIS SCAM!
I got a call from them today after I too answered an ad on Craigslist for new TV show Rubicon, ironic Rubi”con. They called today and asked if I could come in tomorrow...then I asked if I could set up an interview for my son age 4. I amso glad I researched them. My son really wants to be an actor but now I have to break my sons heart and let him know that we have to find another way to get him on tv...I refuse to be SCAMMED esepcially for the desires of my son...I NEVER want him to be heartbroken by scam agent. Thanks for the post...I am so glad that I need the research.
Hi All, Just got a call to come in today or tomorrow. After reading and resear****g this Max Entertainment at number 212-244-4483 at 224 West 35th st, room 206, i WILL not go in. In fact I will call them and tell them i read about thier scams. ALWAYS do research before going into some shady place. There are a lot of scams on the internet and craigslist.
I replied to a CL listings for extras (new TV show Rubicon, ironic Rubi”con?”) and received later that afternoon a call from a person named Melissa 212-224-4483. I was rushed (most would describe it ghetto, but fast talking at times and difficult to understand) and asked if I could come in on the day of the call. They were ready for me to come in a little after the call and I mentioned it would be best tomorrow at their convenience. I was asked to come in the afternoon to 224 35st 2nd floor suite 206, between 7th and 8th, no specific time was given. After reading information on the number 212-268-9709 and 212-224-4483, I would advice to share your information (hopefully, you caught the agenda) on these numbers or so call a legit job****ential placement. An employer charging an applicant is an insult. Best of luck to you who come across****ential scams and avoid losing your time and money.
Thanks for the tips! They sounded so dodgy anyway!
I got ripped off by this son of a b***h named ***d few months ago. I lost $108 and tried to get it back but there was nothing I can do anymore so I decided to forget about it. But I recently saw him on Fox 5 so I got on this page a***n. I can't believe he's still running the scam business! We all should take action to get ***d Poster in jail! And not just him, the accomplice are as guilty as he is! I believe there are 2 female receptionists and one photographer. The photographer's name is Alex Filipovic and his email address is [email protected]. I know this because I got an email from him to pick up the photos a week later I went to the office. I knew they're scammers by then so I ignored it and never went back. Anyways spread the words!
This number along with 212-244-9544 are scams, what they do is that they say that u can be part as an extra of a show like Law and Order, this dude mentioned a list of different shows including **** ETTY that as we all know that show is over, so then he make u sit outside and wait, but the funny thing is that he had 2 ladies that were infront of everyone else and they stay there and funny enough they are part of the staff of *****heads that he has in thereDo not trust this person, him and his team are famous for not only being racist but also for scam artist, stay away from them
I got a call from this number too on Friday, but I did not get to my phone in time to pick it up. I was trying to look it up online and I found all of you. Thanks for the heads up. I have been trying to get into acting and I saw that it was a New York area code and thought that I might have finally found a ligit agent, But I guess not. I won't be returning their call.
If anyone submitted for acting jobs on Craigslist, most times it's usually some agency wanting you to sign up with them, saying they will get you work and then after taking your credit card info for photos and/or membership, you realize you've been had! Be CAREFUL SUBMITTING FOR ACTING JOBS ON CRAIGSLIST ! There are scammers waiting to ripoff the uninformed !!!
***d also goes by the name "***d Acta" according to his other facebook http://www.facebook.com/people/***d-Acta/1616800230. He should call himself "Bad actor". His email is ***[email protected]. Justice will soon be served Mr.Poster, and you'll see what it's like to have the foot on the other end!
If anyone here knows how to make spam or a virus, please send it to ***[email protected] yet, if you can hack into his account then that would be great also. This guy is gonna get whats coming to him.I am a proud and firm believer of VIGILANTISM.

October 21, 2009. Yeah I got a call today and this was the first thing I found, Good thing!! I apply for work all the time so, I wasn't sure which job it was I applied for, and of course they had no idea ("It was modeling acting or extra work"). Basically the dip s**t who was talking to me couldn't answer any questions, forward me an email of the information, and acted like I was annoying him or he didn't have time to answer my questions like they actually did any legitimate business. Yeah come in for an audition to pay for some unnecessary s**t, NOT. I figured it was a scam as soon as I was on the phone but had my brother call back and ask more questions they couldn't answer until they knew that we knew they were bu***hit. They should be *** not WNY.
They called me today and I was immediately su****ious. The girl sounded like she was on a social call and when I asked about their website she said she "wasn't sure", put me on hold and then said that the site was "being fixed". She wanted me to come in to discuss extra work. I commented that they already had my resume and head**** so what was the point of me coming all the way into manhattan just to talk. She stumbled around and seemed very uncomfortable and unprepared whenever I asked her a question. then she dismissed me by saying she would call me back.
I got a call from this number also. I didn't answer and they left a message saying they got my submission for either acting modeling or extra work. I'm not calling them back. She sounded so unprofessional, and I never submitted to be a model!
Dont fall for this scam. Caller wont tell you who's calling just that is for a modeling agent and you must come in right away. Well we did hurry right in thinking we had a job booked, well we were dead wrong. When we got there they wanted money for photos and reels and so on. Very scary.
"Gotcha" scam that is on Craig's List regularly. Once you have emailed them in response to an ad, they then phone you to set up an appointment to come in, then they go for the money when you arrive. They have to be exposed for their ripping off of the unsuspecting people who show up at their door "Starry Eyed" and an easy mark for these thieves. Enough said?
Does anybody else getting calls from this phone number?
THIS IS A SCAM. EVERYONE BEWARE. they c****ed their number. Just talked to a woman, tried to convince me to come into the office tomorrow and see ***D WEST... email: ***[email protected] ... THIS IS BU***HIT. I told her I wouldn't come in, I'd just send them a resume tape....she didn't realy like that idea. But, oh well, because they arent taking my money! ****** wh*re.
they said they recieved my info- a call from Holly
