You guys, let's all be honest - if someone called me up and immediately said they were from PsychToday and wanted me to sign up, I'd think "SALES CALL" and **** up. While Geoff Hoffman's approach was a little sneaky at first, I talked about this with him over the phone and he explained the reason. I never would have called back a voicemail from him had it just said blah blah blah freeblah blah.. haha, i mean, we're all human, we all hate that.Happy to be with them though, they're an honest company and do good business! I can't believe these people calling this a scam when they're shelling out $180 on every the****** they feature for the 6 months free. You guys, come on, we all can afford this type of marketing. If you don't need it, move on, but if you could use a couple new regular patients, recognize that you're being incredibly cheap and petty. If you want to cancel, here's a new idea, don't forget to cancel! Can't we all be held responsible for our own actions?- Licensed ******logist for 27 years
Got a message from a "Peter Joy" saying he had me on a list of the******s and asking me to call him back at 646.763.6380 to answer a couple of questions about my practice. The caller ID showed 212.260.7210. I looked up both numbers and found the first to be an unlisted cell phone and the other to be Sus*** Publishing - home of ******logy Today. I am currently considering listing my practice on their service and found a deal through a professional****ociation. I really don't understand why they're choosing to portray themselves as****ential clients looking for information rather than transparently marketing the listing service. I've had a pretty positive impression of ******logy Today in the past - now I think they're sketchy. I think I still might list my practice via the professional organization but I'm a lot more hesitant to do business with ******logy Today now.
Beware they are scammers. They try to sign up in a directory for free, then when you forget, they s**** charging your credit card endlessly untill one day you realize.I am reputable the****** and was taken advantage of for a whole year.Beware, bad way to do business.
they called my home today and told my wife they were calling for someone who my wife had the impression worked at ******logy today who wanted to be referred to me to see me as a the******. seemed fishy to me, so i'm glad i found this webpage. yuck.
Well, I do not like telemarketing. Seemed like a scam to me, and I do not want to be solicited. If I had known that it was a referral service in advance to the sketchy messages and call back numbers I would have been alot more willing to try this. NO need to be so shady if it is a legit and reputable service. I was not impressed, and did not bite. Michael ***g up on me when I mentioned seeing the # online, finding it to be a refferal service. Sketchy. I'll stick to my own clients Thank you very much.
I did do this search before calling Michael Anthony back.I found 2 of my friends listed in the directories and they are happy with the service. So I will give it a go...especially since it is free. You either want referrals or you don't.
got the same call today, April 20th. Returned the call and got the same treatment...thank you for posting as I don't need solitation calls at this time either.
I received a call from T**** and this number showed up on my caller ID. She called for boss, Michael Anthony, at 646-763-6366. By digging around I found this out. Since T**** did not block her phone number, I called it and found that it was the main switchboard for Sus*** Publishing. After going through a little bit of trial and error, I located her. One of the magazines they publish is “******logy Today”. When I called her, she had to ask me “which boss did I say wanted to talk to you?” even though she appeared to recognize my name and knew I was a *****ge the******. She told me Michael Anthony was out for the day but I could talk to his****istant, “Eileen”. Once I got on the phone with Eileen, she told me that Michael was in a meeting and she was handling his calls. She then began reading a script about their referral service at ******logy Today and went into a boring blah, blah, blah, until I finally stopped her and told her I was not interested because I was going to school full time and did not wish to be listed at this time. Her response was “good for you, bad for us”. As soon as I made it clear I would not be parti****ting in the referral service, she ***g up on me.
