I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AS WELL. (I HAD BEEN SENDING OUT MY RESUME FOR SEVERAL JOBS)I MISSED THE CALL AND THANK GOD FOR THE BLOGS ON THIS NUMBER. I WILL NOT BE ANSWERING THE PHONE IF THEY CALL A***N.

Recieved a call from 212-601-9696...I didn't answer, no message was left.  When I tried to call bak it said all lines were busy.

I just a got a call from this number as well and I did not answer but I got a vm that had a recording asking me to hold on for the next verification specialist.

I too got a recorded message from this number regarding an application they claim I put it.  I did not submit an application, however I do have my resume posted on monster and career builder.  I am getting a lot of random scam calls since doing so.

I received the same message Wayne did.  I ***g up and won't call back.  Thanks for the info on the scam.

Just received a call from this number and it was a rep from employement select. I had to wait about 3 minutes and the lady just verified employement info I had already given out. I gave out no additional info and she asked for no additional info.

I just recived a call from 212-601-9696. I did not pick up cause I did not know the number I did not answer. I am glad I check out the number cause now I will not call them back.JW

I answered the call and held on the line for 5 minutes no one ever came I ***g up. I wouldn't answer the call or call back if I were you.

Had a call as well, knew in the beginning it was a bad idea and sketchy on Craigslist but did it anyway, bad idea! Thanks

called and left no message.  I called the number back and the recording said, Welcome to Employment Select.  We are calling about the job application you recently completed online.  Please hold for the next job verificationer.  I waited and a guy name Wayne came on the line and asked for my name and phone number.  I asked who he was and he said that they are a contractor for different companies and they take information for these companies for people that have applied online.  I wouldn't give him any information and he ***g up on me.I did more research and found that they are listed on RIP OFF REPORT.http://ripoffreport.com/searchresults.asp?q5=EMPLOYMENT+SELECT&Search=Search&q1=ALL&q4=&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searchtype=0&submit2=Search!If you google this number, you will find a bunch of other numbers connected to them.BEWARE!

Someone called me from this no but did not leave a msg and I did not call bk. probably just a scam
