I've gotten a couple of calls from this number after 7pm, weeknights.  The first call left a message that sounded like a recording saying they are the LA County Dept of Public Health and it is not a sales call.  It said it is doing a survey of LA Country residents (didn't say about WHAT) and to call back that same number on the ID if you have questions.Thing is, with so many scams out there, anyone can claim to be a legitimate caller, with legi***ate business.  Besides, I thought the government doesn't call people, as a rule of thumb.  If they do, they should know better.Bottom line is I don't want to talk to anyone, survey reasons or not.  I have also gotten calls from this Portfolio Recovery mentioned above by Larry, but it shows that on the ID and the area code is from ******ia.  I ignore them.
