This is a "fund raiser" caller asking for help for homeless veterans, police or fire fighters. get multiple calls per week, same guy asking for me by my first name. two times daily. he keeps moving number but same voice.

Called a couple of months ago and asked for my brother. When I told them he just died, they went right into asking me for money instead. Called back today with the correct name and refused to take no for an answer. Had to hang up to end it.

Ibm Threatening robocall, female vice from an "Officer" claiming that if you do not call back in 24 hours, the local cops will come and arrest you. Received the same call from a different number almost back to back, 202-709-1216. Checked IRS website and they issues a statement June 2018 about these robocalls and that it is a scam. Don't call back!

Extremely Annoyed Received a call that was a recording in bad English claiming there were "allegations" against me, and if I did not call back within the next 24 hours, the "local cops" would come to arrest me. Have received several calls from different numbers with the same ridiculous message, so I called them back the same day. This number was already "not in service".

The Texas City Police Department is warning residents about an IRS telephone scam. Residents have reported receiving automated messages from a number claiming to be IRS collections, police said. The automated messages initially came from 215-709-1213, police said. Residents should not forward any money or personal information to anyone using that number and claiming to be IRS representatives, police said.

Said pollce action forthcoming, & to call that # for what to do, called from phila based on area code and number, could be spoofed. No name on caller ID. I did not answer, recording of female voice was left on answering machine. I haven't been in phila in over 10 yrs.

This appears to be an IRS scam scaring older people. The phone is a land line carrier Verizon in New Hope, PA supposedly.

Got a call from 215-709-1146 and said a law suit is against me and the local police in El Paso would be here to pick me up. This area code is for Pennsylvania. I am almost 77 years old and I don't know who this is for, but it sure isn't me and the number can't be verified! BEWARE!!

They left a recorded voicemail saying I would be arrested in one hour if I didn't call them back. They are from Pennsylvania and I live on the west coast. They say I and my physical property is under investigation. That's a laugh, I don't have any property to investigate.

If I'm supposed to be arrested because of a warrant I'm sure they wouldn't call me!
