(224) 293-4701

I have been getting calls from this number and when I try to call it back all I get is "the number you have dialed can not be completed as dialed" now when I call the telephone company about it the Operator transfers me to 411 or to the repair center.  Clearly the phone company is completely incompentient and they must know about this but refuse to deal with this.  In the past eight months I have received calls from this number and several others s****ing with 224.  And yes all my recorder gets is static and then it fades out.

Calls and there is a message, but it is just background noise.

For about a week now we have been getting calls from various 224 area code phone numbers.  The closest we get to a message is background noise.  Probably either a telemarketer or a collections agency (people at these types of places seem to be illiterate or unable to line up lists as we get calls about people who haven't had this number for at least 10 years or for the guy one block over).

Voice on the other end sounded like a southern accent.  Not able to identify origin of call.
