The idiots from that number are calling me too---i hate it  but they don't stop

I just checked out a site and it showed that Broadwing Comm. issued the number out of Illinois, and is located in Half Day, Ill. I might track down broadwing and s**** hounding them for a c****e. Maybe you should too.

I just called the number 224-543-7040 and it says that by calling the number they are placing you on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  SO I GUESS THAT IS HOW YOU GET RID OF THEM.

I don't know who this is but I want them to take me off their call list.  I don't have a car warranty to s**** off with I think they are a big rip off.  I had one on a new car that I bought and they refused to cover what they agreed to pay for in the warranty and I have never bought a car warranty since.  Waste of money.

Calls everyday...very annoying

These people get my name/phone number from a database and try to sell me extended warranty coverage for my car when it is way out of warranty. When I ask who they are they **** up. Definatly fraud. These people need to be prosecuted. They also call my work, and personal phone. So****ing needs to be done abouth this since people are not as cynical as I am.

The call at least 3x a day. It has a message about a car warranty, I'm handicapped I have no car. I tell them this and they are rude and then **** up

Did not recognize number so did not pick up. Googled the number to see what I could learn. Have rec'd calls from a different area code and number relating to my warranty about to expire...only problem is that my car is 20 years old!! It has no warranty..

This number calls my cell phone all the time.

I didn't answer the phone, and they left no message.  I get one or two calls per day from various numbers that ALWAYS show up on this site as spam calls.  This s****ed a few weeks ago, and has increased in the last week.  This is my cel phone area code 602 and it is NOT on the do not call list.  I rarely receive more than one call from any specific number -- I NEVER answer them. Here's a list of the numbers:224-543-7040203-608-5003203-608-5003702-520-1185310-599-9157602-539-7012813-391-3686480-889-0318480-889-0315234-567-8900 obviously fake.  this reminds me of how skype uses 1234567890 or so****ing.234-567-8900  I'm trying to narrow down where they got my number.  Can anyone corroborate any of these?  Here are a few places I can think of:1. zillow dot com.  i put my house for sale on here several (maybe 5) weeks ago.  i used to get several calls and emails a week from solicitors and realtors offering to list my house for me. "i'm calling about that house, is it still for sale?  yes?  well do you have a realtor yet?"2. i have an LLC registered in AZ, since almost a year ago.3. i signed up a few weeks ago at home depot to have a free consultation about kitchen/bathroom remodeling and cabinet refacing.  they came out almost two weeks ago.Thats all i can think of right now..After reading many of the messages on this forum, I am wondering if the phone numbers are even real.  I mean, I think these places are s****ing the caller ID like skype does and c****ing their "number" every day.  I wonder if it will EVER be possible to get my number off the list that is obviously being passed around.

they call me often i usually ignore it but decided to ask them to remove me from thier call list due to then calling during family dinners or my kids nap time.  when i push one to speak to a representative and got someone i asked nicely to be removed from the list.  my first attempt he said well u can extend ur warranty on any vehicle i said no please remove me from... before i could finish he ***g up on me.  my second attempt sierra is who i talked to she said she would remove me i asked if she had any records of the gentleman who called me last time and she ***g up on me.  they are very rude and i dont appreciate it.

Someone at this number continues to call and **** up. This is nearly a daily occurrence.I previously received numerous calls at home and my office about a car warranty expiring, but didn't note the number.

Received the first call today. Checked out this site and was surprised to see it right away. Glad I didn't answer.

They call me at least once a day sometimes up to three times. The first couple times i answered but there was just silence now i just quiet the ringer when it calls

They call daily and now they called me and I pushed "1" accepting the call. I told them it was my wifes car and she was in Iraq so then they said "her loss I have to end this call". ****!! They don't even let you talk they are rude! I figure this is a scam to get money from you......no ***iner huh

Just recieved a call from this number...googled it and found this site.Hopefully, it's the first and last call from this number.

These people are lying when they call about my car's warranty about to expire.You know because the first thing they ask for is the type of car you own.  If they know you warranty is about to expire it stands to reason they would know what car you own, model , make, and serial number.They call my private number sometimes 2 times a day.  Sometimes late at nigh**** annoying.   It's harrassment.  And it's wrong.This is a Chicago area code.  Can somebody in Chicago please straighten those people.

Received two calls on my cell phone so far today

This number is calling my cell several times per day, but just dead silence.  I called back, but recording offered to put me on the do not call list withing 24 hours.  It's been a week & still calling.
