Yes, this man called us Tuesday 2/11/2011 and said he had my stolen rolex that he purchased when he was in jacksonville at christmas for his wife and that he was a truck driver and she really did not like it Mr. Larry Rice was the name he used. If you need our help getting this scammer let me know. Sincerely, TrinaPSWhat a low life playing with peoples emotions..........
Another warning. my daughter lost her camera and posted in craig's list and this creep called. She was offering $300 reward to get it back. My husband called him and he told my husband he would take $100 so he could buy his wife some flowers. Luckily I googled his number and came up with these posts. Thanks to all for your posts or we would have been out the $100 and still no camera. I asked my daughter if he described the pictures and she said no, he was asked HER what the pictures were. I was su****ious when my husband told him his name. The name he used this time was Larry Smith. Told us to send a western union to Chicago, IL and he would pick it up. Also told us there was a test question on the western union and to use the question "favorite drink" and the answer would be "iced tea". What a pig. I'm going to report him to my local police and to my brother in law who is a police officer to see if anything can be done.
Same Scenario with me, just with the name Michael Bank.I think he gets people phone numbers from craigslist lost & found. We get Su****ious when we told him that we have friends in Oak Park so they could meet to exc****e the bag and pay him the reward, then he **** up the phone and never answer a***n.We s**** to worry how to get the suitcase back then i saw this postings.Anyway thank you for this posting guys i just realize i was not only robbed but scammed too.
Just recieved a call from this number, he had bought my stolen tool's from some mexican's, while driving through Vegas, wanted me to send him money to pay for the UPS shipping and he would send them back, thank god for this posting, by the way he said he was a truck driver and his name was Larry Martin, and he was in Oak Park, Illinois.
Just wanted to warn everyone that this person is a con-artist. I was scammed by him believing he had found my lost laptop that I had an ad up for. I believed there were nice people in the world but sadly there aren't many. I don't want anybody else to be conned by this man and I hope this heartless man gets what he deserves.
