Received a call unexpectedly from this number. When I answered, a recording said "sorry - that is not a valid extension". Scam? Spam? Phishing? Re-routing or misuse of my number?

Robocall stating they are my credit card company (did not state who) and then stated there is no trouble with my account but they need to talk to me urgently to update so****ing to lower my rate. This is a Phishing Scam possibly with a s****ed number.
Answered the phone call from this number. It was about a offer to reduce the rate on a credit card I apparently had. They answered "card services" and I told them I wanted them to take my number off of this list. Then the woman ***g right up. Didn't say okay bye or anything. I called right back to see what would happen and the recording said that the number I called is a non-working number.
Got this call after answering a Craigslist ad that was a scam. Not sure how they pulled my number off my email account. I doubt it's a coincidence.
