Got called by this number only a few times, however they have since stopped. I have not actually spoke to a person, so they must have just gave up or so****ing.

Do not call registry doesn't help here since they're a collection agency. I finally got the phone calls to stop after I called back and spoke to them.

Thank you, because of others comments, I know this is the same caller just with a third number that has been calling for months. Same pattern, the 218 number was the clue! I too do not answer phone calls I don't recognize the number, and they didn't leave a message. Very irritating!

I keep getting calls from this number. Every time I answer ***ody speaks on the other end. So, I called them back, and they answered "First National Collection Bureau, can I help you".. So, I ***g up on them!

I received two calls on 6/4/12. One at 13:48 and another at 14:45. They did not leave a message.

This # is coming from Antioch Illinois, They are using a cell phone so that it cannot be pin pointed as to the exact location in Antioch Illinois. I will find it in time......

I get calls on both my cell and then my home number at the same time from this number. Never is there a message left and always ****s up before answering ma****e picks up. I do not know this number and do not answer if I don't know the number especially when it is not local. I agree it is very irritating and would love to know how to block!

Did a reverse lookup after they kept calling and says its an unpublished cell #. Very irritating!!

This number belongs to some finance company, who has hired these "people" to act on their behalf as Bill Collectors. This number calls and calls and calls, every day, several times a day! BEWARE - The same caller calls from the following 1-800 number as well: 1(866)218-3884 They even had the nerve to call my house several times on Good Friday. I am sure that there are rules (laws) about when these people are allowed to call and when they are not supposed to call. I've told them repeatedly that the person they are looking for does not live at the address****ociated with my telephone number. But of course, they don't believe me and think that I am lying and that I am just trying to avoid their phone calls.

Received numerous calls from this number. They have left no messages. When I did answer, no one was there. In the latest call from this number, a recorded voice asked for someone who does not live at this number and I responded as such. Hopefully someone can put a stop to these robo calls.

I receive about 30 call a day from this number. I put the "do not disturb" application on my phone so the number does not ring and they gets ***g up on immediatly.

Got a call from this number. So much as a unlisted number!. No idea who this is, didn't answer, because it was a strange number. Waiting to be called for****istance on disaster, Who are these fools?.

Called my unlisted number but left no message. Shows up as "local office" on the caller ID. That is not exactly local coming from area code 224. That is not the only number they call from that shows up as "local office". Just another corrupt collection agency that needs to be shut down.

we have no idea who this is. all that shows is a number. if there is no name****ociated with the number, we do not answer. the ring always stops before the answering ma****e can pick up.

I received a text at 9:47 P.M. that stated: "Need some quick cash? You can easily get $1200 wired into your bank account today! For info. just reply back the word "PAY". (to cancel: reply STOP)" I would like to know how these people obtain my number in the first place!

If you are getting harrassing calls from this number, the answer is yes. By filing a complaint, you are making the nature of the calls known to more people, including the caller. The more complaints a certain number receives, the more exposure it gets. This helps make the calls stop by reducing the efficiency of the caller's operations. Also, when a certain number receives a lot of complaints, we investigate the matter and report the number to the proper authorities.

224-788-2006 is a Collection Agency

These people call from several different numbers. They fish for personal information and claim that you have an unpaid credit card debt. I have not used a credit card in over 10 years and have no outstanding credit debts. They even ask for your social security number! They call on my cell phoneseveral times a day. I save the number under "****** Callers" and turn off the ringtone.

Ditto on everything everyone else has said, but, what does anyone know what you can actually do about it? I've gotten calls from all those numbers, too, but every time you turn around to try to get information as to what to do about it, you run into some other type of scam or someone trying to pick your pocket.

This is the 6th number 1st National Collections has called me from and they never leave a message. I answered one of the calls and they mentioned a debt from 1999! Seriously!?! Look out for these numbers: 321-248-6008, 775-322-0444, 775-412-4499, 321-256-4674 and 714-495-4807.

This is First National - debt collector. I didn't bother finding out any more additional information and told them I only deal with written correspondence and not telephone calls. If you google them, you will find some very interesting posts, including 1. that someone won a $147k judgment a***nst them for violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act; 2) the company took more money from an account than authorized; 3) that they use scare tactics and falsely state they have a judgment a***nst, and 4) are trying to collect VERY OLD debts. So, there you go - don't talk to them - everything I've read about them says the same thing - SCAMMERS. It also looks like they have other phone numbers ending in 2002, 2005, etc.
