They look up who your phone is registered to and claim to be calling about a claim filed with xyz. They use public information to try and scan for $/personal info to hack into bank accounts.

Richard I never answer calls I don't know, If they don't leave a message, then it is a wrong number or spam. I will look up the number to confirm, Spamers are setting up locations in different area codes to make people think that they are liget. It is getting harder to filter out **** calls.

Sarah Called 3 times in a row then left a voicemail. I answered on the forth call and the person asked for some random person I didn't know. The voice had several claim numbers and case numbers listed and claimed to be an official notification for so****ing but the reason and the company were never listed. I tried calling back and the number goes straight to no voicemail set up.
