Got a voice mail notice on my work phone (US Government phone) this morning but no message. Caller ID gave me this number; looked it up on the web and got to this site. As for the Do Not Call list, that only deters legitimate telemarketers, not the scam artists who use automated dialing programs that try every number possible, so they will find your number even without having to buy a list and even if it's unpublished. The Do Not Call list does work to reduce, not eliminate telemarketers; out calls went down about 75% once our numbers were on the list.

Random call to my cell phone from an unidentified number, I did not answer. Reverse lookup reports it as available. These types of calls are getting to be a nuisance.
