I got a call from 231-224-2001 they said they were from The Record and were offering a promotion. What is weird to me is why would they call me from Michigan and not from a New Jersey number. I called the number back and they are always busy.

Just ridiculous! I don't ever answer these types of calls anymore but they keep calling! like the one comment that said they answered the phone "officer so and so". Think I will try that next time these idiots call.

Guess I am the first one a***n to get this call in a year an a half. Wish there was a way to stop them. I just ignore these calls now.

I think that my local newspaper sold my number because this is my work number and they are the only ones in 5 years that I have ever given it to... Lo and behold 4 weeks after I subscribe to the newspaper with this number I s**** getting these calls.

they keep calling, just one else said, they just c****ed they number and sometimes thier caller id, but they wont stop, even late at night. now their caller id is D1 SEG2. they wont talk by the way, what is the purpose of their calls? does anyone knows? i mean what's with calling somebody, and **** up on him??? to me this is just pure harassment !!!

They call me 10 x a day at work.  **** up if I answer; lots of men talking and laughing in background before they **** up...I am seeking action via an attorney!  They cannot continually call work establishments with their SPAM CALLS.

They've been calling me quite a bit...as soon as I know (from great places like this) I just answer "Officer so-and-so"  They **** up right away and stop calling.

Have called multiple times. Most times they just **** up. Today Feb 9, 2009 someone actually asked for me when I asked who was calling they ***g up. I am on the national  do not call list and on their list (supposedly) but they continue to call. I recently moved and this is a new number so I guess I will s**** over a***n with an unlisted number which is a real hassel.

called on Jan 21st....no message.  did a reverse look up for the number and it says 'unpublished' in Freemont Michigan.

They call all the time!  The first time my husband decided to take them on; they were looking for money for our local fire department.  They asked if we would like to donate the amount we did before (?).  After that call they s****ed calling a***n.....after a few days I answered.  This time they called me by my first name and asked if I would like to give to a local disabled children's organaization and give the amount I gave last year.  When I said I don't remember giving to that organization, they said they had a copy of my check made out in 2006!  Liars.  Now they are still calling about 4 times per day.  I guess they just won't stop!

I also had this number call & it said courtesy 101 in my ID.  Asked for my husband by name & I couldn't tell what he was saying do to all the males in the background.  I did hear him ask if we were still on *** street. He had the right street!!!  Prior to that 20 min. earlier I had a call from 7635150026 & they asked for hubby by name & said they were with the Veterens so****ing.  These numbers have been calling non stop every 20-30 min. the last week.  I too am on the "do not call list". When I tried calling them back I get a message saying the number is no longer in service.

They called on a Sunday evening.  Caller ID said 'Courtesy 101'.  I answered and the guy asked for my husband (by his first name).  I asked how was calling and the guy said "Wisconsin am vets".  I said "OK, can you please remove our number from your calling list" and he saud "Nope".  I ***g up on him.  I hope they don't call a***n.  FYI...Non-profit agencies can still call you even if you are on the National Do Not Call List.

I have recieved this same call for 3 nights in a row now, each time the caller asks for a person whom I've had no contact or****ocaition with in over 12 .. I'd like to know how these people get your phone in the 1st place.

this number has been calling for 2 weeks now and i Hate it!!!  Of course they don't leave a message so it always looks like i have a message when i get home-idiots!!

Have been receiving calls from "Courtesy 101" for weeks now.  When I answer, they **** up.  Today a message was left, a female having a one sided conversation.  I also am on all the No Call lists.  Doesn't seem to be working...  Would love to know how to get these calls stopped.

This is a new number from the phishing phone creeps!  They will call a***n soon, with a different number, location, and sales pitch.  It is probably part of the "Heather" group.  For more info on this, google "Stop Heather".  This group has been in action for several years and ***ody has been able to track them down, stop and prosecute them.Contacting authorities, filing complaints and using a **** horn in the ear piece is useless a***nst these yahoo's.  I've tried everything... Nothing! 231-224-2001 keeps calling my home number. Caller ID reports it belongs to a "Courtesy 101". I don't take calls like these. Anybody know what it is?

called 1/13/09 12:47 pm.  Line stayed open when ma****e picked up.  Lots of chatter in the background.  Voice on my line says.."go vacuum my room..." then the line is disconnected.
