call from this number tonight 835 pm local time at home... asked if I was registered to vote, asked if he can ask me a few questions, asked if I worked in computers industry, asked my year of birth, and that was about it. WEIRD!!!!!!

Unfortunately I've been receiving these calls all weekend, also.  It does no good reporting them to the DNC - survey takers are exempt from DNC rules!

this number called me numerous times and left text messages to call them back.  i never did and the calls stopped comming.  after reading this i know that i should not have answered the call and that i should just ignore it and it will go away.

Someone from this number called me re: a political poll that was ludicrous. for example, pitting former MN Gov. Arnie Carlson, a Republican, as the DFL candidate running a***nst Republican in***bent Norm Coleman.  Who would I vote for?  After arguing with the pollster, I finally ***g up because the poll was ridiculous and was a waste of time.

I answered only because it was 9:30 p.m. and I let the person know that I knew it was past the legal time.  Second, I asked to be taken off of their list although, as far as I know, all of my numbers are registered on "do not call" lists.  This organization is apparently ignoring DNC lists AND they really don't care what time they call.

They have been calling me after 9:00PM Michigan time.  Which by law is not allowed.  Just don't answer it.  I'd like to know who is giving out the DNC numbers.  Maybe it's a new way for the government to get our money.  hahahahahaGood luck all !

After reading the comments posted to this site it is apparent the DNC list is a joke.  My expectation is these groups that randomly call numbers would be required to review the list before they contacted ANYONE.  If we the receipents are clever enough to figure out who is harrassing us, there should be a penalty****essed to the group that is calling these DNC numbers.

Go right to the source, call Greg Sears with Mountain West Resource, his cell phone # is 208-317-3263.  You can go to their website at www.mwrcenter.com and click on contact us.  Call the number and hit 7690 for directory.  Greg's name comes up first.  Listen to his voice mail and he provides his cell phone #, everytime I get a call from them I am going to *67 and call the number until they stop.  Let them see what it is like to get unwanted calls.

After many, many calls, I finally answered and stayed on the line long enough for their computer to hook me up to a live person.  They were doing "research" on my political opinions regarding the 08 presidential election.  They were clearly biased toward the conservative agenda. Upon questioning them as to which right-wing conservative special interest group they were****ociated with they professed they were indpendent but their line of questioning indicated a bias.  I chastised them for misrepresentation and asked them to never call a***n.  You can bet I will not waste my time anwering if they do ever call a***n,The best solution - do not answer!

They call everyday. How do you make them stop.

They called me twice, once at 5:40 PM and another time at 7:20 PM.  They were conducting a survey on the Ontario provincial government's liquor stores (LCBO) and other liquor retailers.  I can't wait for the Ca***ian do not call list to s**** up!

(231) 224-2034 - called me today after calling several times the last few days.I ignored the call when it came up on caller ID. It said Research Center.Today I answered it and it was just a survey. I am VERY careful about info giving. But they were consistent with survey takers in their questions. My questions were about my states government policies and whether I agreed with certain statements. It's a harmless call.

just got the call twice today on my cell and I am on the national do not call list so I have no idea what's going on.

231 224 2034 call came in at 9pm. They did not announce who they were only that they wanted to speak to the man/male of the household. I told them they called a cell phone (which they did).

I notice that many people have "out of area" for the phone number.  We have Call Block, which will not allow "out of area" phone calls to ring on our end.  It blocks them out.

We have received three phone calls in the last two days from:  Research Center @ 231 224 2034The first two calls occurred yes****ay.  Since our phone # is unlisted, the fact they were calling and asking questions raised all sorts of flags.  When I was not cooperative with them, they asked for "the lady of the house."  I handed the phone to my wife and suggested she not answer their questions.  She did answer the first two (Are you a registered voter?, Did you vote in the most recent election?), before I suggested she stop answering their questions.  She ***g the phone up and Research Center immediately called back but we did not answer the phone.  Today, they called back a***n asking for "the lady of the house."  They didn't even know whose name to ask for.  I stated that she wasn't home (which was true), and I then asked the caller what organization she was with.  She disconnected the call with no reply to my question.

I found out later that MWR is a "push poll" organization. A push poll is a form of negative campaigning in which a caller will ask a question that links a candidate with what is usually a hypothetical and false statement. Such calls are named push polls because they are designed to push voters away from a candidate and are disguised as a poll. The American****ociation of Political Consultants has denounced the tactic.

I forgot to add that they represented themselves as "Mountain West Research". Never heard of them.

Called at 8:36 pm. I'm in Florida and I'm a registered Republican. I answered their questions.

They are calling for Keith Garrett...this is his work number.  WE are on the DNC list.

I have already told them not to call me, but they keep on calling. I plan to use Selective Call Blocking from my local phone company to get rid of them.

"Research Center" has been calling for approximately a week, sometimes three times a day and as late as 8:45 p.m. Leaves no message and when I answer ****s up. I re-dialed the number and got somebody's voicemail who stated that "she was away from her desk". I left a DNC message. I am on the DNC list. This is becoming borderline harassment.
