Called. No message! Now blocked!

This is annoying, but not a scam. I have an account with Edward Jones, and they hire these guys to conduct their surveys every year. They don't ask anything invasive, just want to know how satisfied you are.

I have received 2 calls on my cell this week from this phone number, caller ID only listed this phone number. I did not answer either call because I don't recognize it. I am on the "no call" but I do have an account with Edward Jones.

it know who edward jones co is and have an account with them locally(texas)but keep getting calls from this number and they never leave a message.this must be an automated call but the daily calls are getting annoying!

Just got a call from them. They ***g up as soon as I answered. I never give this number to anyone and have no accounts with Edward Jones or JD powers or anyone else.

They have called my cell phone twice! No response when I answer. I have elderly family in that area code, so I answered even though there was no Caller ID entry. While I do have Edward Jones accounts, they do not have my cell phone number.

I received this call and answered the phone expecting a survey, I heard 2 DTMF tones and no one every came on the line. We do have some money with Edward Jones so it makes since. But there system must not work very well. Maybe someone left the Robo dialer on. It’s Labor Day so I don't think anyone would be working in a call center for JD Power. Unless maybe  it is an off s**** operation. Sandeep needs a day off as well I guess.

i can't believe anyone wouldn't know who JD Powers is but i see it is possible.  jennifer from june 19 2008 is telling the truth.  JD powers rates all kinds of goods and services that exist today.  when i got my computer it had a Jd Powers rating on it.  alot of things do.  i just don't think people notice it.  anyhow, it would be ok to answer this call and as for the Do-not-call list in missouri.  this is not  part of that.  research companies can still call you.  if you don't believe me go back and see what you signed up for.  it amazes me that people puyt their phone numbers on a list and don't even read it beforehand.  no wonder there is so much iden***y theft.

I use to work for Edward Jones.  This is a survey done by JD Power and Edward Jones takes your responses very serious.  It is important that you answer the questions honestly and fairly as your Financial Advisor and his BOA (secretary) are "graded" on your response.

Just got a call from them.  It stated on the Caller ID that it was Edward Jones.  No one there when you answer it...??  What's up with that.

I am with Edward Jones.  One of my clients reported that he had been called by this number and it came up Edward Jones.  We do use JD Power as a client satisfaction surveyor.  This seems to be a correct****umption.

Just got a call from them too.  I wasn't home and they didn't leave a message.  Caller ID said JD Power with the same number (231-224-2038).  I did get a postcard in the mail a few weeks ago stating that Edward Jones was going to be doing phone surveys on their service so that makes sense to me if it would be them through JD Power.P.S.  Thank you all for posting on this site, now maybe I'll try answering the call the next time I get it :^)

Left message:Bonnie Hahn with Edward Jones and this phone number.Was notified today by a co-worker who uses the cubicle where I used to work (about a year and a half ago!)... message was left on her phone, but I don't recall ever giving out that number.

2 or 3 calls in the past few days, almost answered as I thought it was an auto rating company.  They donot leave a message.

First phone call came up on the caller ID as Edward Jones and the second call on the same day came up as JD Power.

Received calls from this number two nights in a row, they **** up when ma****e clicks on.  Caller ID says "J.D. Powers."  I've reported them to the Attorney General's office in Missouri.  We have a VERY strict, well-enforced no-call list.  Hopefully that will help.

I had this same call from this same number also 231-224-2038. It came at 7:20 no one answered the call and no message was left. So I looked it up and found this page.  If it had been a professional business such as Edward Jones why would they be under another name and why would they not leave a message.  Sounds fishy!  I will be blocking this number because I don't know what JD power is.

A woman has called asking for me several times from this number, mispronouncing my first name. Actually, she has called a phone number I have not lived at for over 7 years, so she has an old phone number for me. The person residing at that phone number has told me about her calls. When I tried to return her call, I got a message saying you could not return the call.  So I went to the J.D. Powers web site and e-mailed them, asking if it was a valid call pertaining to Ed Jones research.  They have not responded.  I also e-mailed both the national and local Ed Jones offices, and they have not responded, either.  I'm wondering whether it could be in regard to a check I think I should have received from the Ed Jones company that I have not received in the mail yet?
