FOP continually calls our house and will only talk to my husband even though I have told him we can't afford to contribute money to the FOP

They are calling and asking for my wife and when I tell them she is not available they ***g up.

Everytime I receive a call from these people I tell them I am busy and ask for a name and number where I can call them back. Each time they **** up immediately. The last time the caller said, "We can just call you....." and he ***g up midsentence. Doesn't sound very professional to me.

I just received a call from MI FOP. I'm on the "Do not call list", but still received the call.  I have had contact with them before.  No message left, but I do understand that it is the ***ernal Order of Policy.  Probably looking for contributions.

We have been receiving repeated calls from CTC Marketing under 231-224-2083.  We have submitted their telephone number for investigation.  They have disregarded our request for removal from their list.

why will the do not call list stop this?

Continuous phone calls from this number stating it is from MI FOP.  I never answer but am extremely tired of them calling.

I did not answer this call from CTC Marketing @ 231 224-2083. I have caller ID and saw it was from a solicitar. This company must be using different names...no message was left but at the very beginning of the call I heard can I talk to...he ***g up when my recording came on asking to leave a message.

I cannot verify the validity of the call and would never process any request via the phone or the internet because of rampant - Fradulent scams that are plaguing each of us daily. For what it's worth, any money that you give will not be verified a***nst anything or any item of support. It will be a black hole.. Best to give to local organizations where you will see results for dollar given.    To bad, - the good guys suffer for the *ssholes that ruin good for their bad. To reduce this issue, I left the following email with the MI FOP website and suggest that other afflicted with these calls do the same. If I do not get a response back will solidify the call as a SCAM.My note to the FOP websitePlease honor the DO NOT CALL LIST....I appreciate the support that you MAY give to the FOP and others, HOWEVER, I rent the phone line for my purposes and not for anyone to abuse. We subscribe to the do not call list and have done since inception for very specific reasons. The one most importatnt is that I do not want solicitaions that I did not ask for. The internet list ***dreds of these violations by MI FOP that are of concern to each and that have been annoyed by these calls for donations whether scammed or not. Prior to calling any number, especially mine....., verify enforcment to the Do Not Call haras*****t policy. If I get another call, I will follow through with the process to secure haras*****t action. Talked to local police and asked about this. Scam They don;t call and ask for money. I don't answer the call . It's an out of state area code. Not Michigan

I think it's out of line. The police take care of their own, this solicitation is uncalled for. I don't want to hear from them a***n.

The phone is to the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police and the number is based out of Fremont, Michigan. Their e-mail address is: [email protected] You can also e-mail them at: [email protected] or call them at: 1-888-367-6424 or 1-800-261-6801 However, the best thing to do is contact their carrier-Lucre, Inc directly (I went to Lucre's web site: Lucre.net) and registered a complaint with them and I included the request to not only remove my number from all of their lists but also forbid them to sell my information to other companies.) In the past, I have found it to be more effective to deal directly with the telemarketing company rather than one of its many clients.

They call on a daily basis, but do not leave a message. I would prefer that they do not call me as I do not care for solicitations.

occasionally get a call on my caller id from  231-224-2083 which states MI FOP. Have no idea who this may be. I do not answer and no message is left. Never tried to return the call tho. Thought about using a payphone somewhere if you can find one these days, and call some of the annoyance call numbers to see who they are without having my number traced. Who are these people ? Why not leave a message??

This is Fraternal Order of Police!  It's apparently fundraising but the police say they never solicit donations over the phone.. Hmmmmm

This is the first time I've gotten a call from this number.  Have no idea who it's from.  Caller ID comes up MI FOP??

231-224-2083 Obvious automated auto-response message. CID says RTI INDRS. Message sounded like a person, but responses did not match what I said. Message claimed to be from local FOP.

This number was on my caller ID, yes****ay, caller ID says Mi FOP, so I went to this website to see if anyone else is getting calls from this number, now that I see that they are I'll  be sure to not answer it, thanks for the info.

No message left, but I beleive this is the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police, these guys are a bunch of rude scammers and crooks, don't give them a single penny. They ask for money to buy the police bullet-proof vests and such. They lay a guilt trip on you by saying "You want the police officers to be protected, now don't you?" Used to get calls from them a few years ago, it did no good to tell them to stop calling. It sometimes sounded like some punk teenage kid on the other end. My elderly mother once got a call from them and she told them to stop calling. The pushy ****** on the other end actually laughed and said "Oh, you don't want to do that now, do you?" It is probably a classic boiler room operation they have going. Don't make the mistake of donating to them, if you do they will be calling you from now on.

call went to ma****e, guy said, "hello, is michael there..."... then he said "... oh, ..." and ***g up... may he get boils on his nose and in his but *****, and get pulled over for improper lane usage

Received a call from this number 231-224-2083 last night at 8:56pm where the caller identified himself as representing the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police. Have no idea what caller wanted, as I ***g up immediately on him.231 area code is generally north east portion of lower Michigan

How can you stop these unwanted calls? I'm getting sick of receiving them!

****** auto message saying I am a winner from K-Mart or Macy's, funny thing but where I live those don't exist.  I am in Ca***a!!!  I****ume they use an auto dialer?They constantly call I would love to know how to block these calls from coming.They s****ed immediately after I connected my phone, before the number was even published.

their toll free is 877-223-1931. they call from ***dreds of different numbers and its all a scam. call the toll free and give em back a piece of your mind. if its busy its because they are closed or not taking calls on that toll free number right now. i work for AT&T and i know how this all works. they can turn that toll free on and off when they want so if its off u get a busy network signal or a full mailbox. i am posting this on all the threads related to them on this site.

yes****ay around 3pm pacific....female voice said (came on after 10 - 15 secs) she was representative of target, k-mart etc. she was talking extremely quick, sounded pre-recorded too. said I was drawn as winner for trip to mexico. our area is 'retirement heaven' so we get scammer or phishing calls every week! I ***g up after listening for about 10 or less seconds. later, I guess about 6:30 or so, I called them back on my computer (I can block my phone # and hide my IP and info). their answer ma****e said if you want to be removed from their call list then leave your phone # !!!! wow...another scam... if you leave your phone #, they know you'll respond to their threats... gotcha now, put you on more lists.

Keep receiving calls from this number.  I answered but no one would talk to me.  So I called the number back and got a recording.

received the call today from this number, I tried calling the number back, but got the recording "call can not be completed as dialed". I am guessing the number displayed on the caller id is s****ed.

I received this call today as well, this is the second time today this number tried to reach me. It was the same caller ID and a***n no message. I live in MA and subscribe to Comcast VOIP telephone service.

Caller ID shows up as RTI INDRS for this number.  I didn't recognize it, so I didn't answer.  No message left.
