calls me 5 times per day!!!!

I have received numerous calls from this number. Now I am extremely aggitated because now I have to waist my vacation time checking all of my financial accounts. This is rediculous that the good have to be harrassed and have to suffer for these useless idiots. Seriously, Im thinking of s****ing a business that could handle this for people. But, of course I would be scrutinized for my 'hidden" agenda. The Do Not Call List is an absolute joke that doesn't work. This **** will never be stopped.

Also this other number calls: 269-768-2622These idiots called my cell phone 8-10/day. It's ridiculous and extremely harassing. They don't announce their name and what company they are calling from, a basic customer service courtesy. They leave no messages or ****-up, then when you do answer they unprofessionally call you by your mispronounced first name and then ****-up. THEY ARE A MENACE AND NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN! I opted onto a Do-Not-Call List and they are still calling. WHY? The "supposed" 1-866-217-6866 customer service number is always conveniently busy. I found out they are Lucre, Inc. out of W. Michigan. They have no class, respect or courtesy for anyone, much less people they want as customers. I will never do business with this half-baked company or any company****ociated with them based on their extreme unprofessionalism. There is too much stress, worry and problems in people's lives than to have one more hassle. I hope they get shutdown and go out of business permanently.

I missed the call and decided to call back. A female recording said that they had called because of a package that I just received today. No company information was given. I knew it was a scam.

Calling about an order? Do not call without leaving the name of your business. We are listed on the do not call.

I have been receiving calls consistently for the last 4 days. Similar to other reports, when I call back, no business name id & they are just calling to verify an order. If it's going to ship anyway, why keep calling?? When I finally answered, I got the same $150 in gas story & an attempt to verify info. When I s****ed asking them questions, they had no answers. I contacted the cc co of the last 4 they provided & alerted them as well and provided all the info I had. They will be wat****g my account just as closely as I will. Since I spoke to a Vista svcs rep, the calls continue. I will not be answering & I hope none of you do either. Such a SCAM!!!

The call is from an outfit called Vista Pro, they call representing they are connected with the issuing bank on a credit card, set up a three tire order, rattle off 1-800 numbers to call to cancel, then disconnect. They are not affiliated with any legitimate bank, stay away form them , and **** up when they call. The call back from this group is usually met with a dead line or more offers.

I answered and it was a Member Discount program that wanted to send me a trial membership. They said they obtained my information from a recent purchase I made with my Visa. They wanted to send me a $150 gas voucher, but charge my card shipping to send the membership packages for two companies. When I replied that I wasn't interested because I didn't want to receive anything that I would have to call to cancel (30 day free trial which then charges you $29.00 and $39.00 per month unless you call to cancel), the guy just yelled "fine, bye" and ***g up.

I got a call from this number 231-337-2140 and I don't know why they are calling me. I called this number back and got so****ing about my recent order. I have ordered nothing. Don't know why they called and want it to stop.

I was called by a young male voice from this number, he asked for me by first & last name saying this is to confirm my order. I haven't ordered anything. He would not identify their company or what the order was. I received several call from this number & today they resorted to using a private number. re: 231-337-2140same thing happening to us. multiple calls on both of our cell phones. the caller did mention "visa" and stated the last 4 digits of our cc#. scary. just ***g up.

caller offered me gas rebates of $150.00 because i was such a preferred customer, but was talking so fast was unable to hear who I was a preferred customer of.  She said she'd be sending me rebates for gas that i could keep along with other special offers that would cost me 29.95 a month if i was interested, and to keep the gas rebates if i wasnt..the only thing i would be charged at first was $2.95 for shipping, at which point i tried to interject that I was not interested, but the rude woman just kept talking louder and more incessantly over me. I repeated that I was not interested, but I doubt she ever heard me as she still talked over me louder.  Finally I just ***g up, and the calls continued, with the caller using my first name as if she was one of my friends. Now I just keep my phone off when not in use, and switch it off when she calls...never has she left a message.

I never answer the call, because when I try it ****s up on me. Never goes to VM.CAlls several times a day.

I keep getting these calls. The last time I ordered so****ing it was from Staples. Someone out there is Phishing. The call only rings a couple of times and then ****s up. Looks like Lucre, Inc, McBain, MI.

i rec'd numerous calls from this & as it turns out my amex # has been compromised, coincidence??? probably not. btw,  i never answered it.

Been called 5x already today; did speak briefly to someone the first time but was in a meeting; have not answered since.

Numerous calls to my cell stating that have a package to ship to me that I never ordered. They call all day long. Wish it would just stop. I am also listed on the do not call list and don't understand why they keep calling.

Called at least 3 times. Asked for "wife" when requested person is not in. Has ordersconfirm listed as the caller ID. ***g up on me when requesting more information. Removal from system attempt failed due to poorly functioning equipment.

This number has been calling me since yes****ay.  The first time they called I missed the call but then they called a***n this morning, so I picked up and heard nothing but dead air.I suspect as well that this is a phishing scheme.  I haven't been able to talk to anyone on the other line but I suggest ****ing up or not even picking up when this number calls you.I'm glad I checked on here to see what this number was about so now I have no intention of answering this number anymore if it calls a***n.Thanks everyone.

yup. called me once a day since wednesday. If you don't answer the phone, are you still safe or  do they know your information and everything already?

I have the same thing.  I get calls 4 times a day and no message.

They keep calling and calling!!!! 10 times in one day, they call at 9AM straight through till 11PM. If I answer they don't say anything they just **** up. I've called back and gotten a voice message saying that they are trying to reach me to confirm an order.(but they don't say what company they are) When my answering ma****e answers the call they don't lease a message. Had enough, so I blocked the number!

Same here.  Having been calling 2 & 3 times a day for weeks.  Number identifies as "Order Confirm."  They don't leave a message and we don't answer 'cuz we haven't ordered anything.  Has to be a Phishing expedition.

Someone (or so****ing) from (231) 337-2140 calls incessantly, like 4x day.  Never leaves a message so I finally answered and got nothing but dead air on the first two times.  Third time there was actually a person and I just told her to stop calling.  That probably won't do any good.

This caller has called me 8 times so far...how do they get our numbers.  I have now added to my reject list hopefully this will stop it but this is my second time I have had to block bogus numbers.  Thank you all for the posts.

I've received 6 calls from this number over the past few days.  Also received one call from a similar number (231) 337-2142.  I haven't answered any calls and they haven't left any messages.  Thanks for everyone who posted info about these calls.  I'm adding the numbers to my "reject" list!!

Got the call this morning and missed it. Since the caller ID read ORDERSCONFIM I thought it might have to do with a certain inquiry of an old order I lost and wanted to get back, so the next time they called I picked it up. The man on the other end asked to speak to me (knew my name and my last four credit card digits) and I thought, oh that must be it. But then he said so****ing about "courtesy call" and nothing about my inquiry. (Oh, he also said "not to worry, nothing is wrong with your card" -- hmmmhmm, "YET" he should have added if he'd be honest!)  Meanwhile I wondered about the background noise, it almost sounded like he called from a playground. So when the guy told me I won $120 worth of so****ing (I couldn't hear well, he had a strong accent and the background noise got too loud) and then proceeded with "we need to verify some information, do you still live in..." I was instantly alarmed, thinking to myself "Wow, this is crazy. Does he really think I'm an idiot??", so I told him that I am not giving information over the phone, and laughed. Well, the laugh happened automatically because I was so outraged. How dare he? What a frivolous scam!!!! I wish I could stop him from scamming others. I'm so mad. It's probably a whole scam ring, I just found other numbers online used for the same thing...

2:34 pm - I just got the 1st call.  Couldn't answer, on the other line.  A***n no message.  Glad I looked this number up!!

This number calls me just as you said, every half hour to hour.  Been on-going for the last 5 days or so.  I don't answer if I don't recognize and I'm glad I lookd on here.  Thank you all.

This number has called me 4 times never leaving a message. Caller ID says it is to confirm an order. I have nothing on order.

Keep getting a call from this number every 30 minuts to an hour. I do not answer it because it is a blocked number.

Received two calls from this number - second time the guy was a real **** and wanted to send me a gas card from a recent purchase I made on my credit card - how he got my cell not sure.  When I called the number on office phone, not able to talk to a live person - had option to be put on do not call list - and gave a number to actually call to talk w/ someone and the number is bogus - do not answer these calls.

Received a call from 231-337-2140 claiming to give me $120 in free gas with just a low shipping cost of $2.95...I kept telling him that I was not interested and he kept telling me that I was and to hold to talk to his supervisor to verify my information.  I told him that I do not give or verify any info over the phone...he ***g up on me.....SCAM !!

Missed three phones calls from this place last night.. Called and got the message that it is a courtesy call about an order and if they do not contact me it will not affect the order.  Very curious as  I have nothing on order...  Called today from work and got the same message..   Sure hope this isnt from buying things off the internet and they dont have more information on me..   How do we get this to stop ??!!

This is an obvious scam......They had the last 4 digits of my credit card and the first name of the last order I placed on-line.  When I questioned the caller, he ***g up on me.  I called the number back and only get a recording that says this is a courtesy call about an order on my credit card, but if they don't reach me, it will not affect the order.   Then why have they called me 11 times in the last three days?  I left a message that they do not call my number back......we'll see if that works!

I answered the 12th call in the past 3 days from this number.  The caller had the last 4 numbers of my credit card.  He then asked for my husband because the last order I made on-line on that credit card was addressed to him.  I stated that the card was mine, and the caller insisted that he speak Roger.   I stated that the number was my credit card number, and asked what he wanted.  He then stated, I did not sound like a Roger, so he ***g up.

I usually don't fall for this stuff, so I think these people were pretty good. They say they are calling because you are a "VISA preferred customer" and that due to using your card ending in (and quote the last four digits of our actual card) you will be getting gas rebates for $120. There's lots of fast talking about using the $120 rebates with no obligation. Then transferred to some other "operator" to confirm information and mentioned that they are recording the conversation. They had our address and asked us to only confirm the zip code for security purposes (which we unfortunately gave, but should have told them if they have it and want to send us so****ing then go ahead, but not going to give it). Then he rattled off a bunch of info and threw in a $2-and-so****ing fee for sending out a package at which point my husband said, hold on...you didn't say anything about that...and then they ***g up!!! So they get you to "confirm" or I guess "agree" to so****ing on tape that you don't even know about and then **** up once you question the fee?We called our real credit card company, told them the story, and cancelled our card immediately. Luckily no fraudulent charges yet. They won't be using that card to make any purchases or charge fees.

They just called me and gave me the **** about the gas and coupon boom and I asked about the company she kinda just mumbled so****ing like ***. Then she said that she was transferring me to a manager so he can get my information. He s****ed saying similar **** so I asked him about the "purchase I had made" and he didn't have any information. He did however had the last four of my credit card number, one I had previously canceled. Pretty bad phishing attempt.

They have now called me at work 5 times today.  I finally answered and they told me I won 120 dollars worth of free gas.  Only hickup is I have to look at some coupon book when I get the gas card and you also have to unsubcribe or it costs you 30 dollars a month.

Same thing for me.  They s****ed calling about two days ago and I have about 10 calls from them.  I seldom answer my phone, so it's a lot of wasted effort for them.

The same as the above is happening except my supposed purchase was by MasterCard and of course, I have ordered nothing - of course I have given no info and I think this must be the same scam as the security systems that happened last month  - of course I give no info and it just bothers me that they have my cell numer

The first time I received a call, I answered it and some lady was talking about thank you points.  I've told these people not to call me about 2 weeks ago. So I ***g up.  Since then, which was 4 hours ago, I've received 6 calls from the same number and 2 calls from 2313372142.  How do you get rid of these people?  Why can't they take me off the call list even when I ask them.

I have been called by this number several times a day with no messsage. I called back using a confidental line and I get a message only saying this is to confirm my order. I haven't ordered anything. They do not identify their company or what the order was. You can't speak to a real person
