Said they were US Federal Government Grants Department and I was given a grant in the amount of $9200. They gave me a Money Confirmation Number and told me to call 202-657-6965 to secure my grant with the confirmation number given to me. I previously read before calling about a scam that says these very things. I then called the number given and told him about the scam and he ***g the phone up on me. They now will not answer the phone. I have sense reported the fraud to the FBI as well as the FTC. I advise all who receive a call from these ********* to do the same.

From your call log tap on the number > tap your 'Menu/Setting' ****on > tap 'add to reject list'. It's best not to answer calls from unknown or anonymous callers, especially if they're from out of state. If it's a legitimate call, or a friend or family member, they will leave a voicemail. NEVER do anything the caller says to be added to their 'Do Not Call' list, simply **** up without saying anything or pressing any ****ons on your keypad. This is just a ploy to verify they have reached a working number. You can add your home or cell phone number to the legitimate National Do Not Call Registry by clicking here https://www.donotcall.gov or typing www.donotcall.com into your browser window, or by sear****g for 'National Do Not Call Registry' on Google or a search provider of your choice. This is the Federal Trade Commission and you will have to enter a working email address you have access to in order to verify your submission. I've been using the National Do Not Call Registry for years, and have greatly reduced unwanted calls, especially on landline numbers (home, office, etc). You can now add cell phone numbers to the list. It's also a good idea to get a second email account with Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo mail to use with websites or sources you do not trust, but are required to enter an email address. Debra I frequently get calls from this number. If I pick up there's no one there. If I ignore the ring, answering ma****e picks up and line goes dead. Caller ID always says "N883".

timbo Caller ID says America Unite; called at 8:28 left a "blank message" nothing but dead air; they are con artists and there is no way to get them to stop. EXCEPT, call your Congressman EVERY TIME YOU GET AN ANNOYING phone call, your Congressman will answer the phone, and you tell him to c****e the law that allows scammers, political calls (lol) and charities to bother you. If enough of us call our Congressman they will have to c****e the law. And, tell your Congressman that you will NEVER vote for him if he/she calls you around election time.

Number calls repeatedly. When I return call, I am asked if i want to be placed on their do not call list, I punch the appropriate ****on, but it does not stop the calls. I am sick of it!!!

Keeps calling my cell no message

I get a call from this number everyday except for on the weekends. They never leave a message and when I pick up there is no one.

hate scams Told me due to a recent purchase I made with my visa card I will be receiving a $120 Gas card in the mail along with coupons. I ***g up on the lady, but feel very uncomfortable that she got my name, number, and address from somewhere. I canceled my Visa card just incase. Made me very concerned.

I received calls from this number at all hours of the day and night. For the past 2 days I got 9 calls! I don't know who it is. Can this be stopped??

When called back, a message stated that I had reached the "Removal Database" and that my number had been recorded and would be removed from the database within 48 hrs. Interesting, considering that i hadn't called them before and have not asked for my number to be removed from anything. Good thing I used *67 when dialing....
