The company that is calling is called "I Satellite" in Provo Utah. They are listed as a retailer for Dish Network, and a telemarketer. Their information is:I Satellite251 West Riverpark DriveProvo Utah, 84604801-221-0222The contact name for Dish Network is Jason Borup. He is a Co-Owner of I Satellite. The phone number 231-732-2629 (and every other number that appears on your caller ID) is a bogus number. Apparently I Satellite uses a program to have phony numbers appear on the caller ID system (a possible violation of FCC rules). If you or anyone else continues to get harassed by these people, call Dish Network and ask to speak to someone in their Do Not Call department. Don't waste time letting the person that answers the phone at Dish putting you on the do not call list. This will do no good. The telemarketers are usually trained to not tell you who they are working for, but if you’re smarter than them, you can usually get this information before giving out any of your personal information. When you get called, stay calm, pretend to be interested, and ask what company the Satellite service is through. They will say Dish Network. Ask if that is who they work for, they will usually say no, then tell them you like to know who you’re doing business with and ask what company the phone rep works for and where they’re from. They might not tell you right off, and it may take a little extra work on your part, but if you are convincing enough, you should be able to trick the rep into giving you the company name they work for. After that, you can **** up or yell at them if it makes you feel better, but it’s not like these people are intelligent or really care how you feel. After all, if they had a mentality beyond a five year old, or cared about anything, they wouldn’t be telemarketers to begin with.
This number keeps calling me and playing a recording about "satelite TV" a few times the recording said it was Michael or Lisa with Dish network. Funny but I already have Dish. Anyway anytime I wait out the information. As soon as I say a) I am not intersted or b) I already have Dish or c) Please do not call me or d) May I speak to a supervisor.....they **** up with out answering a question or saying bye. If you call them back, they have an automated system to "remove" you number. It doesn't work or you can push 2 to speak to someone if you are interested in "satelite" TV. But it then asks you to leave a message. I called Dish. They did not confirm if this was one of the telemarketers calling for them. They did put me on a "no call list" and told me to call back if this happened a***n.
