The legal taps by HS need periodic refreshing to stay within technical parameters.  The host system must make an initial connection, then resynch via VOIP occasionally with the monitored device to function.  The connection may be established via a ring only (no call complete or pick up by target) to succeed.

I get these calls repeatedly- at LEAST once a week. It rings twice and then stops. Even when I answer the phone there is no answer. Caller ID says "recycle". I dialed the number and got a message ma****e, even though the call just came in. It is really beyond annoying. The message when I called this # says "mailbox # 8354710 is not available please leave a message and we will call you back"!

I am on do not call lists but still receive several of these calls a week.  Usually 2 or 3 per day.  How do I get rid of them?

Just got a call on 11/20/2008 at 3:03 p.m.  Rang twice and ***g up. Got this same call on 11/17?2008.  The FCC is obviously toothless and cannot enforce the do not call list.  What are we to do?

This call came in on 11/20/2008 at 12:53 pm. Left no message. Caller ID is Call Center MI. I'm on every imaginable Do Not Call list. How much longer will these people be allowed to harass the general public?
