This is supposed to be the number to cardmember services for Discover but it didn't sit well with me the things he was saying. So I think it's a scam call.

KH Recent articles at better business bureau, scam busters dot org and the fiscal times dot come state that there are 2 new scams being used these days. The first scam is for telemarketers and scammers to use (spoof) the phone numbers of regular people, particularly local businesses. Phone numbers of the elderly are also being used (spoofed). The objective of the scammers, per the articles, is for the householder to pick up the phone when they see phone numbers in the caller ID that would not be likely to be spoofed and/or are not on the compiled lists of spoofed numbers that are available on line. That could certainly explain why we and many other people are getting dozens of calls from local florists, businesses in Tampa, Florida, Child Care Centers and sadly, some elderly people, one of whom lives in a mobile home park. The other scam is to spoof the householder's own phone number. Again, the objective is for the householder to be in such disbelief and/or curious that his/her own phone number would show up in his/her own caller ID, that the householder will pick up the phone just to figure out what is going on. BBB warns against this. Also if you miss the call, BBB advises not to call the number (your number in the caller ID) back. Also if you get a recording or a person advising you to press certain buttons in response to questions, etc..........BBB says do not do it. anonymous don't know who this is but in the "why call me" website, a poster stated that the caller is a representative from Nigeria who needs help securing an account. He helped her to wire funds to his bank, etc etc.

anon received several calls from this number. cid says unavailable. no messages left. somewhere in the fort myers, naples, fl area. In the past 6 months, we have been getting many different calls from the 239 area code. All of the calls have turned out to be scams.

Barb Just got a call from that number, kept saying he was from the Florida State Troopers Assocation? told him I wasn't donating to anyone, he repeated his speel 3 times, I hung up.

DZ This is Bank of America.  For whatever reason they have been calling me every day sometimes several times a day.  Does not leave a message.  I do bank at the bank, but I have asked now to be on do not call list when I dialed the number back.

Just called AGAIN! today @ 9:55 am - Kaylyn with American Diabetic Surveys - I asked for her name & name of the company and then asked if she had heard of the do-not-call list...she hung up! just like they always do when I say that...been told hundreds of times to stop calling and they still do!!

These people call my cell phone all day long - 4 times just today - trying to sell diabetic supplies...I have asked them to STOP hundreds of times, remove my # as I am on the do-not-call list - and I have reported them 3 times now

Mad Hatter Thanks for the Ephren E. Taylor heads up. Found something about him on The Ripoff Report, too!He and his crew are also calling using 1-863-949-0954. Got a call yesterday and rolled it to VM since I didn't recognize it. Sure enough it's a recording "introducing" Ephren (or Ephraim) Taylor. Rule of thumb: If you do not recognize the caller roll it to VM. I've heard horror stories about being charged $$$ if you answer or if you return the call. This kind of crap is going to continue through the end of January. It usually starts in July of every year with the stupid T.V. gadget ads and goes thru January. Don't buy anything off T.V. or anything advertised in the tabloids during this time. All they want is your CC number and they get your $$$ right away and tell you (always in fine print) to wait 4-6 or 6-8 weeks for delivery. The fake "Customer Service" numbers they give you? Forget about them because you're placed into an endless loop.Use your noodle and you won't become a victim.

Word 2 The Wise This is a con artist who goes by Ephraim Taylor (sometimes Ephrain E. Taylor) who wants your credit card info so he can charge you $39.95/a month for as long as your card is active!  You may not even receive the chintzy books and tapes he promises but one thing for sure? You WILL be billed the same amount every single month (sometimes they process twice or more times a month) until you completely shut down your card. Look him up on YouTube. He's also found on YouTube as Milloinaire's Club or sometimes The Black Millionaire's Club.You may also find vids of him being interviewed by media several years ago. His co-conspirators are all over YouTube testifying how much money they've made,  blah, blah, blah. Do not fall for this line of crap. Do everyone you care about a favour and post this info on Craigs List in your town. I did! CAUTION:  If the caller tries to get you to "verify" your account information? Don't!  Say nothing and hang up immediately without identifying even your own name.

vadalia 239-206-4954 has been calling my home phone for a month now, sometimes several times a day. They always hang up without anyone saying anything.  I have re-called this number and get a recorded message, "If you want to be removed from our call list, leave your name and phone number."  Of course that is some kind of trick to get your name, so I refuse to do that.  Any info on this organization will be much appreciated so that it can be fined heavily for its annoying and disturbing calls at all hours of the day and night every day of the week, including Sunday.

239-206-4954 For the past month have received multiple calls and hang ups from this number.  I called the number in Naples, Fl, and got a message saying, "If you want to be removed from our call list, leave your name and phone number."  Will not play that game with them.  If anyone gets info re this outfit, would appreciate knowing it.

We're getting at least one call per day from this number.  When I answer no one says anything.  If we don't answer, there is no message.  Very annoying to say the least.  Thank heaven for caller ID as I won't be answering again.

I'm really getting annoyed with getting several calls a day, sometimes as often as 5 times, from this number.  Calling back indicates it's a wireless number "not currently available".  Can someone do something!

I went to a website that was for missing money and put my 87 year old father's name and address with my phone number.  I live 300 miles away.Since then my father has been getting calls at my house from this number.  We have repeatly been getting calls.
