Called twice no message

These people have stopped calling my cellphone and arw now calling my home phone.They need to stop like i have adked them to both my numbers are on the national so not call list.

I have just finished getting rid of telemarketing calls after 9 months of aggravation. Calls at all hours of the day and night. According to comments from others, this is another telemarketing co.

They have called 5 days in a row at all hours of the day and night. They are doing survey supposedly and I have asked to speak to a manager to have our number taken off their list. The response given was, "Uh, I am a manager." This is becoming very stressful and if they don't stop, I am not sure what my recourse is. Help!

I called their main number, (thank you to the person who posted their NYC #), and it turns out to be a market research company.

Apparent telemarketing call, this person called immediately after I ***g up on a telemarketer, (pharmacy company), and told them my number is on the National Do Not Call List. I called back to identify caller, and it rang and rang without ever being picked up. Person lives on Fox Den in Fort Meyers, Florida

Called and got message that *my* call could not be completed at this time. They called me!

This caller shows up as SRBI or SRBR on the caller ID. The caller said that they were conducting a survey and not selling anything. As soon as I asked to be taken off the call list, the person on the other end ***g up on me.

They call after 8 p.m., and when I answer it's a dead air call! Don't know who or what ABT SRBI is, only that it originates in Fort Myers, FL. I'm complaining to the FTC.

A call from this number ((212) 448-5501) arrives once a day and amounts to harrassment.  i want the calls from this number to STOP.

This is obviously a big company with a lot of influence that is protecting them. They are not allowed to call and have it go dead. This number has been calling me almost every night since I got angry with Direct TV. I almost never received an odd call until I tried to have mailing stop coming to my home mailbox box from Direct TV. I called and had my name removed. The mail stopped, but then I s****ed getting phone calls every night from Direct TV. I called 3 more times to get the those to stop, and then I s****ed getting this call from 239-415-4400 "ABT SRBI". I just got one at 6:44 PM CST on my caller ID. They just **** up when you answer.

i got this call every day and did not answer it. i did answer it today and the man told me he is from department of transportation. the questions are more related to auto insurance surveyor.

Calls from this number s****ed about a week ago, since then it has been 3-4 times a day. Finally, I picked up to see who it was and they ***G UP on me on two different occasions!! WTH?? You call me several times a day and then **** up?

I've been receiving calls from this number - one particular caller (male) for about a week. He says he's conducting a survey for Rutgers University. I asked him to take my number off the list. He said that he can't remove it from the list because the numbers are computer-generated; he doesn't even know what my phone number is. It does show up on my caller id as ABT SRBI.

Other neighbors have complained that they have gotten the same phone calls from the same number. How do we get this to stop. We don't have any rights? I'm called several times a day. I just don't answer and I don't run anymore to answer the phone because it's them most of the time.

caller asked if I was over 18 and how many others living in my home were also over 18. When he asked to talk with my husband and I said he was unavailable he no longer wanted to "conduct his survey" from the Missouri College of so****ing or other. I regretted saying anything to him because he was so eager to get off the phone. I do not feel safe now and wish I had not answered the phone altogether.

This caller has appeared on my CID 10 times in the last two weeks. I don't any money so it's not a debt collector (for me).

Oh you silly people on this website; Abt SRBI has the right to contact you regardless of your status on the Do Not Call List. If you had read the DNC list information carefully, you would know that it does not include: contacts for research purposes and political campaigns. To the person who claimed they were asked (or their mother) for a SSN, that is simply not true. Abt SRBI would never ask for such a piece of information.

Received a call at 7:50 Friday night from an individual claiming to be with the Social Security Administration - told him he had the wrong number and ***g up. Social Security people don't call at 7:50 p.m. on Friday evenings!!

This person called my mother, who is 91-years-old and was asking for her Social Security number. Thankfully, my wise mom ***g up as soon as they asked for her SS. She was terrified to pick up her phone until I answered the next time they called and basically used the most disgusting profanity and they NEVER CALLED A***N! This company has been ringing my phone every hour from 5 to even after 8 p.m. every weekday (I know only because I am there - who knows if it rings all day...) and every Sa****ay morning for weeks!!! I have asked several times to be removed from call list to only have the very rude employees **** up on me or argue with me that my number is a published one and they can call as much as they like...very frustrated...

He said he was from the Florida Health Department calling to check on my health and health insurance information. I told him not to call here a***n and that I am on the do not call list. I recognized the phone number because I have gotten calls from this number before. Sometimes when I answer I just get ***g up on.

I also recvd a call from this company. But they ***g up quickly because of my recorded msg. "Hello. You are talking to a ma****e. I am capable of receiving messages. My owners belong to the National Do Not Call list so if you are a Telemarketer, we will be happy to register a complaint because you called. They do not need siding, windows, or a hot tub, and their carpets are clean. They give to charity through the office and don't need their picture taken. Caller says he is with I.R.S and will I parti****te in a survey. I have tried to report this to I.R.S, but cannot get a live person to speak with.

This is yet another phone number that keeps calling me. I have caller ID and I NEVER pick up the phone unless I know the caller so they are wasting their time; but it's irritating to get this calls as late as 9 at night. I am a senior citizen and this is a little scary and it is harrassment.

I have received calls from this # at all times of the morning, afternoon and evening. I have ignored them and they don't leave a voice message. However, I've had enough. Today I answered the phone and the young lady announced that she was callingfrom the Fla. Dept. of Health and the CDC. I asked her "do you actually work for these organizations?" She said "No, I'm calling on their behalf." Whereupon I asked her to kindly remove my name/# from her company's call list. She nicely asked me "may I ask why?" I explained that I worked odd hours and her company's phone calls at all hours were disturbing and asked her a***n if she would remove my #. She was very nice and said she would. I hope she keeps her word or the market research group executives are going to s**** receiving alot of upset calls/mail etc. This is a legit market research group out of Ft. Myers, Fl and New York, their website is www.srbi.com. Since they are a survey company they do not fall under the guidelines of the DNC list.

You can't get them to stop. The Do Not Call list does not cover political organizations, charities, or telephone surveyors. SRBI is a surveyor and is thus exempt from the Do Not Call list.
