Spammer!! I don't even have Verizon!!
Keeps calling asking for someone that's not me. I tell them that they have the wrong number and they hang up. Still keep calling me.
It's actually Verizon's financial care. I know this because I had pymts set up, they had the wrong bank acct number and it didn't go through, this is how I know... I called it back...
I second that!
Sick of these people.
Are they even allowed to call on weekends? Where can I call or report for complaints?
I kept getting calls from this number as well. If you call this number 1-866-212-7408 and give her your number she will remove your number from their calling list! She said it will take 24 hours but I guess I'll see tomorrow and I'll post again if this doesn't work but she said she would do it right then and she was very nice!
Finally - they called and someone was there. It seems the company is Receivables Performance Management. What are they - a collection agency. They told me of a bill with Verizon that was not valid and wanted to collect on it. When I asked for their company name and address, so I could submit a letter for them to stop calling, the guys just asked are you going to pay this bill or not. I again asked for the name of the company and the address and he then said his supervisor was telling him to get off the line because I was not going to pay the bill. I finally said, it was Federal Law that he give me the information. Finally he gave me the website quickly and hung up. Their website is http://www.receivablesperformance.com
Someone from this number called and asked for Mr. Fixit. This person is all the way on the other side of the country (Maryland) from me (California), and even if they switched two numbers around, the only other area code they could have meant is for Georgia, so I'm pretty sure it was a prank call. You don't call people in other states, thousands of miles away, to fix something for you. Or maybe he thinks he's calling someone who will come clean up the body he murdered? I'm not sure...

They call weekly. First time I answered and it was an automated message telling me to please hold, I hung up. Second time I answered just today some dude asked me if Irock was there, don't know an Irock.
I get calls from this number on my cell phone which I don't answer. Once I had my assistant call back and it was a nasty collection agent who put her on hold until she hung up. Hereafter I will never answer another call from 240 area code.
I've been getting a call from them everyday for the past month. Never thought to call back the number until i googled the number and read the posts here.... They were looking for someone with a name i can't even pronounce. They removed my number so we shall see if this works. If your courtious to them i'm sure they will be curtious to you as well.
Why doesn't anyone at the carrier (AT&T, etc) do something about these calls? I get one every day - M - F and they hang up.This is why we pay for a "private" cell phone? Our carriers sell us out to anyone with a buck... Including the gov't... (our own bucks)
Pain in my A**......i am on the "do not call list" which is proving to be useless.
keep calling and using up my minutes
They asked for "Franks and Subs", a business that failed about one year ago and is located 3000 miles from our home in a completely different area code and with a phone number nothing like ours. We have no connection to this business; we do not owe them, they do not owe us. So, WHY do they call us, and on what grounds are they calling our number?
Similar to the posts above, someone calls every day. Last time they left a message regarding my business account which I do not have.
call my business every day around 1 pm and hang up when I answer
Yes, this company calls itself RPM but has changed it's phone number and state several times. They previously operated out of Canada and were reported to business bureaus in that country. BEWARE! They will harass you and your company forever!
Received 4 calls from this number since Dec 16 2009. I answered it today. It was an automated message from RPM concerning my "business account." I own no businesses, so I knew this was probably a scam. It gave me this number: 800-618-6705 and asked that I called back immediately. So I did. It rang and rang and rang, and rang some more. Then I could hear the line switch... like the call had been forwarded to another line. After two rings, I think Latisha answered. I said that I got a message that didn't explain what it was about, and I asked who she was. She said she was from RPM, and asked if the number I was calling from (my cell phone) was the number they called. Yes. Then she said she was looking for a woman whose name I'd never heard before. I told her that she was not the owner of this phone number. Latisha told me she'd remove my number from her account, and that was it. I have a sneaky suspicion that this is not the last I've heard from them.
Keep calling and message says to call a different number then hangs up

I got a call from this number a few minutes ago and they asked me if it is CSI Enterprize. I said no you gotta wrong number. they hang up on me.
No message was left, but caller ID says ONE CHOICE.
this number called my work- It was just hold music for a minute then someone picked up and asked for our accounts payable.
This co. keeps calling but a diff. # shows up on my caller ID each time.
Keep on calling and than I hear please wait we have an important message for you
Calls several times a week and never leaves a message
THey are a collection agency (RPM) collecting for National Pen and others.
Caller ID says Cellular Call. It is a collection company called RPM and they are not nice. So don't answer
Called on my CELL phone. Said he worked for a collection agency and that my BUSINESS phone number account was put into collection for non-payment. He wanted me to give him a credit card to pay the bill NOW so I wouldn't be charged collection fees, etc. I knew I was not late, and never had been! Other people might fall for this scam if they are not on top of things BECAUSE he knew how much my bill was for a certain month !!! How he found that out I don't know!
Computer called, asked me we wait, could not pronounce company name correctly, asked if the name was a person or a company, demanded a different telephone number when I told them the boss was out and I was only an employee, gave me the amount they said was owing even though I am not involved in business, became very nasty. I hung up on them. Identified themselves as RPM. Name was Kris, then her male supervisor came on the line.
Shows Cellular call it's not - don't answer! They are a vicious collection agency. Falsy identifing their company which is illigal and aganst FDCPA, of which you could press charges.
